Was sat no where near a bar scene.. Almost like a cubby in the hallway. Felt quarantined away from the music and noise.. there was no ambiance. The drink menu sounded cute till the drinks arrived ... I ordered a Gin Blossom ( white cranberry, prosecco topped) it was served in a stem less martini glass, it wasn't cold, had no prosecco carbonation. No flower garnish it was a lemon? What's blossom about it? Boring. My fiance ordered the 120 old fashioned. Hes big into bourbon, he said it tasted like fruit punch. Got a cocktail marichino not a luxardo cherry. Was cheezy. The calamari came out hot.

Went once and done. Party of 4, all ordered different drinks - all horrible!! We figured we would try just one appetizer and tried the chips trio. Looked like and tasted like it came out of a left open, stale, grocery store bought tortilla bag! Only a few chips intact even and mostly crumbs with definitely low end grocery store bought salsa.
Looking at other comments, wish I saw before going. Charged us $10/person cover to get in, to just pay as much as we did for 4 drinks and a nasty appetizer. Ok top of that we came back around 1am to enjoy rooftop view, but they closed early! How can a business

I have no idea what the hype is. Nice hang area if you sit by the bar. Ambiance not bad inside as well. However the food.....???? We ordered 2 burgers which were both severely undercooked. We asked for medium and they were both burnt outside and rare inside (and my husband is not the type to send food back), an order of Tacos and Pasta primavera which had no seasoning whatsoever. The appitizers were tasty but not worth entree prices.
I will say the drinks were pretty yummy and the service was great. But if you're coming for edible food.... Just don't.

Went here for ladies happy about on a Wednesday night and had such a great time. The bartenders are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is to die for. From you exit the elevator the decor and atmosphere is just amazing.

The bar was beautifully decorated with fall leaves and lights and it was just breathtaking. There is out door seating as well but even with the heater, it was still cold since its fall. The view of the sunset was amazing.

Everyone enjoyed their food and drink but I had some truffle Mac and cheese bites and it was not the best. I think it was because of the the truffle

Always a pleasant experience at the rooftop.
Do be mindful it can get a big windy and chilly in the fall months. Other than that, food is good enough and they often have a live band ( check the website or FB to be sure).

This place is fabulous! The atmosphere is fun and it's all so romantic! Depends what you're there for. Love that you can enjoy inside dining or go to the bar and sit in or outside. Tyler the bartender is the absolute best and the rest of the bartenders are very attentive. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the appetizer menu could have a few more items especially for people who come for drinks and happy hour. But what they do have on the menu fabulous

We had a double bday celebration there on Saturday night. Cool setting and designs of the place, live band, outdoor fire were all very nice. It was 8 of us and we ordered dinner and drinks. Throughout the night, the waitress kept forgetting the orders of food and drinks and we had to remind her multiple times that she has not brought the item before it was finally served. We thought that she might be new and inexperienced so we didn't really say anything negative to her just tried to have fun. Then one of our friends had to leave early and she bought dinner for all of us. Upon checking the bill

7pm on a Saturday night for dinner. after calling to see about a wait and dinner availability, we drive 30 minutes to find out about a $10cash only cover charge for a band that was starting after 8pm.
1. Tell me this when I call asking about waits and dinner
2. The restaurant had no one in it, reasons for this is based on our 10$ cover to eat dinner
3. Plan B is next door...amazing food, still had the live music and staff was so much nicer then the front entrance staff of your restaurant.

Go to plan B if in the area!

I came here with a friend on a Thursday afternoon to get some good happy hour that we saw posted on their site. Unfortunately when we got there we found out there wasn't any happy hour and only full pricing at the bar. A little disappointing since we saw it on their site online.
But we sat outside which was very pretty, they have a nice bar and seating. The doors and windows were all open and since it was 90 degrees it was a little hot, but the occasional breeze made it ok.
The bar tender was nice and checked on us frequently to make sure we were all set. I got a gin and soda which ended up

This is a very weirdly posh place. We went in thinking it'd be a moderately classy/upscale restaurant and when we got there it was like this fake California style rich person decor thrown up all over the walls and tables, like somebody got confused between edgy and modern. Red snakeskin wallpaper by the bathroom, gold marble by the main dining, fake plant backdrop in the entry.. oh and they had a dress code for guests. Just a strange mishmash of ideas. Well, we had a reservation and thought we'd give it a try cause we were there already. We were greeted by a very drunk and very large group of mostly

Ambiance was great, but food and drinks subpar. My table ordered numerous small dishes to share- chip trio was super underwhelming- salsa/queso were definitely not house made, truffle fries were ok, Buffalo boneless wings were nothing special..
Drinks were presented nice- I ordered the Love Potion but definitely a strong presence of margarita mix. Not itching to go back

Went here a few months ago and loved it. The atmosphere is amazing and the bartender was so much fun. He really knew exactly what each of us needed in a drink. I wish I would have caught his name.

Look, when you have a reservation and you get sent into a 4 top with blinding light and there's 3 two tops available, why can't my two top move over there? Totally denied and absolutely told not to go. Fine. Ordered the honey sriracha wings- absolutely disgusting. Funny part: we grab the check immediately and dump our wings. Our server "Fast eaters, huh?" Indeed, very fast and quickly driving away from your restaurant. Yelpers beware.

This was my second time at Rooftop and I can say that both times, the staff has been very accommodating and welcoming. The first time I came, we were seated outside but got too cold as the night went on so we asked to change our seats. They moved us indoors with no complaints.

The most recent time I was there, I had originally made a reservation for 2 tables (since each party had to be 6 or under). Not everyone was able to come so I asked if we could have just one big table for 6. On the phone they informed me it would be hard to do. However, upon arriving, they were able to give us a table to

Stopped in for a late night drink here. Delicious martini! It was busy but the service was attentive, quick, and friendly nonetheless. Pretty atmosphere. There was live music and a great dance floor. Very enjoyable place to sit outside!

Hello news10 this is Rafael Estrella.

I recently moved from Norwich, CT to Glastonbury, CT. Love the new town and the bars and restaurants. But last night on friday august 16th 2019 around 10:50pm eastern time at ROOFTOP 120 Glastonbury, CT, 06033.

All i wanted was a 'love potion' which is their signature drink and my girl wanted food.

We spoke to the hostess before a party of 6 canadian citizens did and waited for a couples table to dine in and have drinks.

They skipped us and a security guard told us to move out of the way. After 20 minutes we finally got sat down and never

I went for happy hour and I must say this is a beautiful place! When you enter you can either take the elevator or stairs to the third floor to enter the restaurant. The bar side is amazing! It has two sides of seating out doors then in the middle a lovely open bar. I ordered a salmon taco, buffalo shrimp taco and also a lobster roll. The salmon taco was amazing however, the buffalo shrimp taco had a lot of sauce which took away from the true flavor! Lobster roll wasn't my favorite because I am a cold lobster roll eater but they give you a large portion which is also extremely good and a

Came for post dinner drinks on the rooftop. Service was very poor. Our waitress stopped by every table around us asking if they wanted anything else. She made no eye contact or attempt whatsoever. My friend and I just went straight into the bar to order our drinks. Later asked the waitress for some napkins, never came back with them. Instead we saw her talking to the customers around our table. Very unprofessional.

Bartender used his barehands to grab the maraschinos cherries, the orange/lime wedges to make cocktails . He was very unenthusiastic and after I ordered, he just kinda rolled his eyes

I had made reservations for 6 p.m. (Saturday) not knowing if it was going to be seating available. I was a little confused on how to get up to the rooftop you have to enter through a hallway in the front there is a Japanese restaurant there, but you take an elevator to the third floor that's located in that lobby. When we walked off the elevator three lovely ladies greeted us and showed us to our booth with a window. It was a very romantic modern style booth & the ambience of the place was great for a date night. The dining area is separate from the rooftop bar which is very cool once

I've heard a lot about this place and never actually made it here until I found a Groupon! Now on one of the last days for me to use it Tiffany and I finally made it here. Lol. Here's how it went.

Atmosphere/Appearance: We came LATE on a Saturday night after a day of running around and at about 10:00pm, this place was dead. We were sitting on the Nosh 120 side (which is the restaurant portion of Rooftop 120). There was maybe 1 other table in the restaurant, but most of the other people were on the rooftop side where all the drinking and partying goes on. We just wanted to use our Groupon

I am a fan because the bartenders. If we go there once every four to six weeks or so, they recognize us and know what we like. That is impressive! The food I could live with out. I am not a fan of fried food and that seems to be the majority of their menu. At least the stuff that I can eat.

What a disappointing dinner; the drinks were very average, the ambience was extremely loud. For the appetizers we got the Thai calamari and it was ok, the Thai sweet sauce was smeared on calamari and it was ok.

What disappointed me the most was my entree dish - steak and Frites, I asked for the steak to be medium rear and oh boy the steak was so freaking stinky and very bitter. I could not finish a bite of it. The waitress was kind enough to take it back. I ordered for the philly cheese steak flatbread instead and it was good.

I've been to Rooftop before and my experience was good. The
