Dr. Chris Schulten is originally from Louisville and is a 1985 graduate of St. Xavier High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Centre College, followed by his dental degree from the University of Louisville in 1993. He then served 7 years active duty in the United States Air Force where he also completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program.
We are excited to announce the partnership between Dr. Chris Schulten and Dr. Ron Pryor! These gentlemen have been friends and colleagues for over 30 years and have decided to join forces to improve smiles all over the Louisville area. Dr. Ron Pryor is originally from Louisville and attended the University of Kentucky in 1971 where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Zoology.
Your first visit to our office is a free orthodontic consultation. This visit includes diagnostic records which consist of digital x-rays, photographs and possibly a virtual impression of your teeth using our iTero 3-D digital scanner. Dr. Schulten will evaluate your individual orthodontic needs and answer any questions you may have regarding your diagnosis and treatment options.
No, it's not. Many of our patients have been referred to us by their family dentist, however many patients take the initiative to schedule an examination themselves. The American Academy of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic screening at age 7. By this age, several permanent teeth in most children have erupted, allowing us to effectively evaluate your orthodontic condition.
We love our community! At Schulten Orthodontics we place a high value in contributing to the community surrounding our offices. We regularly participate in community events, health fairs, fundraisers and events that contribute to the people of our community. We place a huge value on educating children from a young age on the benefits of great oral hygiene, brushing and flossing techniques, regular check-ups and healthy food and drink choices.

Wonderful office! Two of my granchildren are in braces. The initial x-ray and consultation is free. I was able to double dip with sibling and cash discount. They always run on time and fun activities for the kiddos. I love that they text your reminders. Clean office, easy parking and a staff that cares.
