The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.

To help reduce your child's cavity risk by up to 80%, the proactive pediatric dentists at Pettinato Children's Dentistry provide protective dental sealants for hard-to-brush molars.

This place has a serious problem with their scheduling practices. It should've been a sign when on our 2 kids initial appointment they got rescheduled 2 months further. I should've just dropped them then. The latest reschedule is for our daughters cavities which I already paid in advance a month ago. She was supposed to go yesterday but they rescheduled the day before. They must understand then people that have families need to plan ahead (school specially) and we can't be rescheduled left an forward on our appointments. Please be honest with yourselves and if you can't handle new customers don

Worst customer service experience! Great dentist, We love her. They canceled my original appointment, so we had to wait an additional month. We showed up 10 minutes early for our 11am appointment. We patiently waited as the entire lobby cleared out. A woman and her daughter came in around 11:25 and they took her back(in about 10 minutes) before us despite my complaint that we had been waiting longer! It took them 47 minutes to get my son back and they only took us back because I was causing a scene! This is unacceptable, especially since the new patient that also walked in behind us was brought

I'm so sad to be giving this review because I do like this dentist. That make my daughter feel very comfortable when she's here. My daughter was complaining of tooth pain, so I made her an appointment. Its nerve racking to see health professionals during a pandemic but I won't let her be in pain. This morning I received a call to confirm her appointment and was told I would be charged $15 just for showing up because of the extra cleaning that they have to do due to covid19. I have been to the obgyn, my dentist and the pediatricians office since the pandemic and this is the first time I am being

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. The staff is great! They are really patient with the kiddos and really show empathy when children cry. It took thirty minutes to calm my son down and for him to allow the nurses and doctor to work on him. Not once did they seem frustrated or upset. The doctor, Dr. T and Dr. Erica are both amazing! So sweet and caring. My children will have beautiful smiles because of their care! Thanks to the ladies at Pettinato!

Brought my son in who is experiencing pain because he has a baby tooth that won’t come out and is pushed sideways. It is painful for him to eat. The hygienist and dentist were good with him and agreed it needed to be pulled. However the next appointment they could do this is seven weeks out and “there’s nothing that they can do. They can’t create appointments they don’t have”. Then why see patients to assess for acute needs if you have no follow up appointments for treatment? The office personnel was condescending and unconcerned. We will take my three children to a new dentist. I also

They canceled my appointment and then I wasn’t a fan of the service. Felt like it was rushed and they didn’t really try to work with my son. Claimed to be a pediatric dentist but didn’t really show any patience and felt very rushed. Would not recommend. They did recommend me to other doctors though. Some of which weren’t even in our insurance plans. I see why now they only have 3.8 score.

Stay away from this office! They have canceled my sons appointment twice. We have been trying to get his cleaning done all year and are unable to because they cancel the appointment each time. This last time they didn't even call, email, or text me that the appointment was canceled. So we show up and they say oh your appointment has been canceled. Now my son has missed school and I have missed work for no reason.

Save yourself a huge headache and time by avoiding this place. I went one time and regret it. I scheduled for first thing in the morning but they ran an hour behind. They were very rushed and the dental hygienist told my son to keep the toothpaste in his mouth when he's done brushing his teeth instead of spitting it out "to help with cavities". They also insisted on doing multiple x-rays that had already been completed and the place felt like a assembly line with all the kids in one room with little privacy. When I went to schedule the next appointment they moved offices an hour

This is the worst dentist! They have cancelled my daughter's scheduled appointments three times on the day the appointment was supposed to happen. Their lack of professionalism and common courtesy is incredibly disappointing. They have no concern or care for their patients or the parents of their patients.

My children, ages 5 and 7, have always gone to see Erika. We've never had issues until recently. Erika and her sister were not on the same page when coming up with an action plan for my son.
Erika was going to do a filling. We came in for a filling that was scheduled with her sister. Tierney (after showing up late for the appointment) decided that her sister's synopsis was invalid and that he needed a root canal. They then sent us to an endodontist for consult. The endodontist agreed that a filling would be appropriate for the immature tooth. So we schedule the filling with Erika. First appointment

Wow, really surprised at the review below My opinion & experience couldn't be more different- enough so that I'm writing my first Yelp review.
I have been coming here for nearly four years with my eight-year-old son, Logan, and it's been awesome. The waiting room is bright and cheerful with video games and toys, and the front desk is always friendly. The ladies who do the x-rays/cleanings have been amazing (shout out to Kiki!). Dr. P and Sharon tag team super effectively to keep his mind off of the tough stuff and even have a special nickname for him that makes him feel

I recommend this dental practice hands down. We've never had a bad experience. The place is colorful and kid-friendly, and the staff are amazing. You can tell they keep their patients, because it's a little hard to get appointments, especially new patient appointments. My son first went here about 8 years ago, and now my daughter is a patient.
The rooms are themed, which the kids love, and they end each visit by adding the kids' pics to the wall. The hygienists are so good with the kids, and they have movies playing in each room, along with video games in the waiting room. So many

My children have been patients of Dr. Erika Pettinato since 2006. I start my kids off early with dental visits, so they first saw her when they were 2, and then every six months since then. My trio are now 6 1/2, 7 1/2 and 9, so they've been to the dentist OFTEN! I can honestly tell you that we have NEVER had a negative experience here. The staff has been the SAME since we first started going 7 years ago, they've added some new staff, but all the "old familiar faces" are there. And they are excellent in handling children with special needs.
