Sonshine Construction and Home Services was founded in 2007 after we, the Cabe family, returned from a mission tour in Kenya, Africa. After returning from the field, our family desired to intertwine our talents of construction with our love for the Lord. So, we named our new business after the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

After being in the construction industry for many years, we started our own business with our focus on remodeling work and additions. Since 2007, we have been serving you in this capacity. We have remodeled bathrooms, kitchens, replaced flooring, replaced roofs, added on rooms, and much more. Due to having a personal experience with mold in our home, we started getting educated about mold and learned how to treat it.
One of our main goals at Sonshine Construction and Home Services is to help keep your family healthy and safe. That starts with education. Terrible experience. They were unresponsive and late throughout the project. When they finally did the curb construction, they did it without consulting our engineer and did it wrong. So we had to do it again and ONCE AGAIN they moved ahead with communications with our engineer. AND THEY DID IT WRONG AGAIN! They postponed the opening of my store by a month and cost us thousands of dollars. When they finally did it right the third time, they destroyed the asphalt all around the curb. After all this hassle and pain, I asked for a discount on the price, which seemed fair since this was a nightmare
