Ridgeland Mansion, set in historic West Fairmount Park, was built in 1719 in a classic Philadelphia Federal style. It sits on a five-acre estate and the grounds are now exclusively managed and catered by Joshua's Catering. The venue is in the hub! With excellent hotels within five minutes on City Line Avenue and minutes from other amenities in Center City.

Joshua's Catering handled a 50th birthday party at our home in late November and did a remarkable job!! From the first call all of the way through the completion of the event the team was superb and incredibly professional and accomodating. The food was great and the service extraordinary. I would highly recommend them to anyone and we will DEFINITELY use them again!!!

From the moment Jenn called us for our consultation I knew this was the place for our wedding catering. The team at Joshua's Catering is unbelievably kind, easy to work with, and so so friendly. We booked with Joshua's before we even did our tasting, as we were on a tight timeline, based on the amazing reviews and their warmth during our conversations. When we got to our tasting, we were completely blown away. It was truly some of the most delicious food I've had, and goes above and beyond what you would expect for a wedding meal. Joshua's Catering recently catered my wedding. During the event, the staff was so sweet and did a great job. The food was absolutely amazing and everyone loved the food they had! Jennifer, in particular, worked so much with me to figure out what I needed for my gf/vegan/dairy free attendees and was so kind about answering my million questions without so much as batting an eye. Overall Joshua's Catering was super accommodating and professional & I wouldn't hesitate to book them again.

We hired Joshua’s Catering for my backyard micro-wedding after our original wedding plans were disrupted by the pandemic. As you can imagine, it was stressful to have to re-plan a wedding so close to the event. Working with Joshua’s Catering was absolutely fantastic. Everything went smoothly and the food was amazing. What’s more is that Brian was incredibly responsive, flexible, and friendly. We are so lucky and grateful to have Joshua’s Catering as our neighbor and look forward to hiring them again for future events!

The food Joshua's provides for Ridgeland Mansion weddings is so so good. We had a small covid-minded ceremony and dinner yesterday and no one could stop raving about how delicious the food was, from appetizers to entrees. Jenn and the Joshua's staff were so lovely throughout the whole planning process and didn't miss a beat when we had to change plans for our wedding due to the virus. This included a 50 percent decrease in guest count from 60 to 30 people and a total date change. I was told by a few guests that they were so excited to go to a wedding where the food was genuinely amazing. Not "amazing

Joshua's catered a "Ladies Luncheon" I held in January for 15 of my women friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. (My experience with them was amazing, and that it has taken this long to write my review only to do with my own lameness!) We hired Joshua's Catering for the first time, for our company holiday party and couldn't have been happier. I worked with David the entire time and he was very helpful and a such a nice guy. The food was delicious! The blackened ribeye bites were one of our appetizers and everyone was raving about them. They literally melted in your mouth! The entrees and dessert were delicious too. After reassuring us that they could work with us on our date and telling me during my first outreach that our budget was sufficient, they took a different larger job for our date, leaving us out in the cold. I wish I was independently wealthy so David could cater my house parties. Too bad I could only afford to hire Joshua's Catering for my wedding! Food at the wedding was better than the tasting, now how often does THAT happen? Beginning to end, flawless execution. My husband and I hired Joshua's Catering to cater a rehearsal dinner for 110 people at Abington Art Center in Jenkintown, PA. 105 people showed up and Joshua's ran out of the main course (meat and fish) before the dinner service was complete. Several guests, including us (the hosts) did not get any of the fish or meat dishes...Only tosed salad and grilled vegetable were left which meant that no one could have seconds. I would caution anyone about using Joshua's for a buffet style...I have no doubt they do a a much better job with plated service. It was a huge disappointment to us

When my husband and I began browsing caterers for our intimate (17 people) backyard wedding, we knew we wanted a company that worked with local foods and seasonal menu items. We stumbled upon Joshua's Catering's website and saw sample menus on their site and thought it looked perfect. After we gave them an idea of what we had in mind--entrees like blackened shrimp tacos and bbq chicken with mac 'n cheese--or a trio of dessert--they invited us to their location for an official tasting. We couldn't have been more impressed, it was exactly what we were looking for.

Joshua's provided everything...literally from soup to nuts...with impeccable service and within budget. The food was creative, fresh, and delicious. The staff was extremely competent, pleasant and engaging. They made it easy, fun, enjoyable and affordable. Highly recommend Joshua's for any event.

I used to live directly upstairs from Joshua's. It's really a great place. Very good prepared food. I used to dig their salmon, chicken and asparagus dishes. Paninis were solid for lunch. Once in a while, I'd pop down in the morning and grab a bagel and some coffee. Everything was always on point...and when you throw in the chill environment, it's an all around winner.

Went here for a quick meal before leavin PA. What a treat!! The menu has plenty of options from chicken to roast beef to salmon and a whole bunch of vegetarian options.everything is available in sandwich, wrap or panini(my favorite) style. Their butternut squah soup was great! It was a good hearty consistency and not that watery out-of-the-can kind. My chicken wrap was also tasty and they used balsamic vinagrette instead of mustard or mayo. I actually felt healthier after eating here!
