AlixaRx combines Long-Term Post-Acute Care (LTPAC) pharmacy services, on-site medication dispensing and certified geriatric clinical pharmacists to deliver innovative pharmacy services nationwide. We listened to patients, nurses, physicians and pharmacists to identify the major pain points with their current approach to medication management.
As a result of this collaboration, we placed our focus on increasing safety, improving access to medications and clinical pharmacists, and maximizing time and cost savings. AlixaRx can help your facility improve outcomes and reduce costs. The impact on patient care and your bottom line is both meaningful and measurable.

Services
AlixaRx was founded in 2012 with a mission to transform medication management in long-term, post-acute and other healthcare settings. We were born from a need to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies. AlixaRx was developed through collective input from nurses, pharmacists, and physicians to provide safety, access, and savings to long-term and post-acute care facilities.
AlixaRx is the first national pharmacy to combine on-site medication dispensing systems and certified geriatric pharmacists to provide a total pharmacy solution to long-term and post-acute care providers. AlixaRx provides prescription and over-the-counter medications, IVs and supplies, and clinical pharmacy services to more than 25,000 patients in over 300 locations across the country.
Because of our unique model, AlixaRx can offer pharmacy services to Long-Term Post-Acute Care (LTPAC) centers all across the country. We provide access to medications through secure, automated dispensing systems that are located within your facilities. We contract with a nationwide network of local backup pharmacies to provide STAT medications that are not in the on-site system.
AlixaRx provides a number of resources for clinical education and training. We provide customers with a monthly clinical pharmacy newsletter and quarterly nursing updates on various medication and pharmacy related topics. AlixaRx clinical pharmacists present a minimum of two in-services per year and are available to provide training each month based upon topics requested by facility staff.
AlixaRx offers pharmacy and technology support to resolve any issues that may arise - day or night. Dedicated AlixaRx customer service representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer questions and resolve issues. Pharmacists are available to approve prescriptions and address medication-related concerns any time of the day or night.

This company does have a good product in turms of an automated medication dispensing system for nursing homes.... unfortunately that is where all the “good” ends. Billing is not done well at each individual pharmacy, resulting in many errors that the patients have to pay for. When I left the company, management was more interested in sending people to collection agency then in making sure the balances were actually owed by the patients. I left this coming because my conscience would not allow me to comply with their unethical demands. If you got a bill from this company I highly recommend disputing

This is a horrible company to work for I wish I can give it no stars. When I first started the turnover rate was extremely high which made me nervous. Now I see why the CFO is not an understanding person. She hired a lady name Elizabeth Brown who was a horrible supervisor. This lady approach and delivery was very rude. She also lack knowledge of healthcare which made the job even more harder. Elizabeth started and immediately two employees quit under her that’s how bad of a supervisor she it. I honestly think this is her first supervisor role basic off her leadership skills. If you ever hired

Worst Pharmacy I have ever had to deal with, the incompetence is very scary. The lack of communication between staff is completely unacceptable! When the delivery drivers have more sense then the people actually working in the pharmacy itself says a lot. I DO NOT recommend using them for any SNF or Personal Care.
