Services
Jill is one of the owners of Ascension Physical Therapy. Jill graduated as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Minnesota in 1994. She initially worked in acute care and the majority of her career has been spent treating outpatient orthopedic injuries. Shannon received her physical therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 1993.
Our organs work better, our circulatory system works better, our brains work better, everything works better when we move. We are happier and healthier when we move. When our body receives an injury our body's instinct is to protect the area. The body responds with pain, swelling, and muscle guarding.
Meredith graduated from the Northeastern University physical therapy program in 1995. She began her career in orthopedics in 1996. She completed a three-year post graduate residency in orthopedic manual therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2004. This has improved her ability to provide a tissue specific diagnosis and treatment.
Shannon received her physical therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 1993. She began her career working in both acute and outpatient settings at a large hospital in Milwaukee. She moved to Anchorage in 1997, and has since focused her work in orthopedics. In 2002 she became a certified Pilates instructor, with an emphasis in rehabilitation.
Meg graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in Biology and obtained her Physical Therapy degree from Daemen College in Amherst, NY in 1990. She started her career at a large teaching hospital eventually specializing in Neurology/Neurosurgery patient care. This involved assisting to establish an acute spinal cord unit to provide optimal care for this population.
