Meet our friendly Eagle and Meridian dentist, Dr. Andrea Brown! Returning to Idaho from Omaha, Nebraska, where she attended dental school, Dr. Andrea Brown was overjoyed to move back to the Meridian area - her old stomping grounds and the place she calls home. We contacted Andrea when we heard about her from a colleague, and when she came to visit, she immediately loved our beautiful practice and friendly staff.
Dr. Ashley Sara may be the newest addition to Castlebury Dental, but she is certainly not new to dentistry! Dr. Sara is excited to finally put down permanent roots in the Treasure Valley, having recently moved to Eagle to be near her family. She graduated at the top of her dental school class from the University of Connecticut in 2013 and has since practiced in Florida and Virginia.

I have been a patient at Castlebury Dentistry for several years. The service and environment have been on par with other modern Dental practices. Overall, it has a great location for anyone commuting to and from Meridian. However, I am leaving this review because I have decided to leave Castlebury Dental due to the unprofessionalism concerning Dr. Andrea Brown. When I select a professional, I want my values and experience to align with the service. It was recently brought to my attention and now fully confirmed, Dr. Brown and her husband are divorced due to her infidelity with a Caldwell Police

I don't have dental insurance because, well, I didn't want to pay for it, insurance rates high, you know. To my surprise, they offer their own insurance at a cost of $350 for the year. It covers two cleanings, x-rays, and more, plus for any dental work, there is a 20% discount on their dental work, like crowns and invisalign. Great

The dentist Ashely Sara and her team were great! This was perfect timing that we met them since we just moved here and we're looking for a dentist. My 2 year old was very comfortable with her and we're so happy to have found them today. They are worth the drive and we had a great experience! I’ve been going to Castlebury dental since a young teenager and my 1 year old daughter just had her very first appointment. The staff has always been extremely helpful and kind. I’ve always been helped quickly and efficiently. They hygienists always do a great job cleaning my teeth and both Dr. Browns are very kind when checking my teeth. I’ve always loved coming here!

Great everything. Great hygienists, great dentists, great receptionists/office staff. Straight forward about pricing. Wonderful with my kids. If I have any worries about teeth things between check-ups, they’ve always been able to see me same day. I feel listened to each time. Ten million points to Castlebury.

Such a pleasant experience from the moment I walked in the door. The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming.

I couldn't be happier to be a patient at Castlebury. I have had extensive dental work over the years, under the hands of some questionable dentists, so I know when someone is good and when they're not. It's scary to go to a new dentist and not know what you're getting. I started with Dr. Andrea last year and was uncertain how the practice would be.

Ultimate bait & switch. I called 2 weeks ago to get my husband in for example & cleaning. According to their words, they scheduled a longer appointment to accommodate for a Periodontal exam/CLEANING! I was informed each Periodontal treatment would be $149. However, my husband went tonight, it was a normal exam, nothing periodontal... and they said it would be $1400 to complete the periodontal and they did a BIG FAT NOTHING! Hey Castlebury, thanks for NOTHING! Such a waste of time!

Everyone at the Castlebury Dental office is friendly, professional, and EXCELLENT at their jobs. I feel welcomed and well cared for during each of my visits. Props to the team for making dental care as painless as possible! It may sound unusual, but I've never felt pressured with an upsell on unnecessary dental work - they recommend what's needed, provide options, and help find a best fit for the patient (you'd think that'd be a dental normal but that's not been my experience in other towns/offices). Dr. Andrea Brown is absolutely incredible! I found Castlebury Dental through a groupon - and to be honest I avoid going to the dentist like the plague. I have severe dental anxiety and get really stressed for days before an appointment. After going in for a long overdue cleaning through my groupon, I was so pleased with my experience. The office is very clean and modern. They have nice TVs on the ceiling and massage chairs! They will give you a blanket if you're cold and overall just care about your comfort. In respect to every dentist I've had in several states, Dr. Jacob Brown is tops. From the front desk, to the hygienists, to the assistants, to Dr. Brown, the entire staff has been so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have their own excellent dental insurance. Castlebury Dental has more than just the normal cleaning and care. They have several programs for straightening teeth, which are a lot easier than the braces I had as a teenager. My neighborhood has a blog and 7 out of 10 recommendations were for Dr. Jacob Brown, so there are many who feel the same as I do. Thank you, Dr. Brown

Staff: All of the personnel I came into contact with (which is probably everyone that worked there between 2011 and 2014) were very friendly, professional, and efficient. They are good about dealing with insurance claims, as well as tracking your checkups and treatments. You'll get friendly reminders via phone when you're overdue for a checkup. They are flexible (not pushy) about out-of-pocket payments -- on two different occasions, I forgot I owed them money until I received a bill in the mail months later.

I can not say enough about how awesome Castlebury Dental and Dr. Brown is. The staff is caring and timely, the pricing is very fair and the level of service from a general cleaning to a crown and finally a tooth extraction is excellent.
I finally had to have a wisdom tooth removed at age 50. Dr. Brown numbed it up pulled the tooth and half a day later I do not even need any kind of pain reliever I am amazed!
