Melanie was my masseuse and she was very kind, friendly, and calming. She talked to me enough to let me know what was going on, but not so much that I couldn’t relax. The music was also very soothing. It was perfect! Thank you so much! It was very relaxing! So relaxing that I still felt very calm for hours after.

I liked everything! The lounge area looking over the bay was the perfect start. I did not even bring my phone.
Simone was so knowledgeable, kind, and knew exactly when I needed to close my eyes and relax. She answered all my questions, made me feel safe, and was a true expert. And the Eminence line of products are amazing.

We had an amazing time at this spa! My friend and I wanted to get our nails done during our trip to the Outer Banks and were lucky to find Aqua Spa. The front desk staff was able to fit us in on the same day we called for the Boardwalk Basic. Natalia was our nail technician and did an amazing job for the both of us! She helped both of us pick colors we enjoyed and she was very detailed in painting our nails.

I went for a prenatal massage with Melanie while on vacation. Booking/check-in was easy. Facilities were nicely appointed. Staff was friendly. Melaine was great- she was very sweet & calming. She listened to my needs, focused on troubled areas, and adjusted pressure as needed. Overall very relaxing. I would come back for other services in the future.

Had a wonderful deep tissue massage! Allison was great, made sure I was super comfortable and enjoyed the treatment. Spa itself is great, beautiful, calming view from the spa lounge! Felt very COVID safe as well, following appropriate precautions and making sure guests are getting great treatments while prioritizing guest and staff safety.

A few weeks ago we were vacationing in NC and driving to Duck. I don't know if it was the long drive or what but my lower back was screaming in pain. My wife called Aqua Spa while we were driving and made an appointment for the next day. My lower back was so bad I had hard time sitting and standing. My therapist Allison Schwartz was great!!! She did a great job of relieving most of my pain. It was very tight!!! I would for sure to go back again when in the area.

I had an amazing experience starting with just booking my appointment. They are extremely friendly, accommodating, and welcoming the minute you request an appointment. The atmosphere is very relaxing and clean. I received the most amazing body scrub followed by as much time needed to use a private shower with high quality complimentary products. Months later I even received an email to come by to pick up my birthday gift when I'm in town visiting again.

Rip-off!! We were given a gift certificate from our children for couple's massages to enjoy during our honeymoon. We tried scheduling the appointments and were told there were no couple's massages, so we ended up having Maritime massages, which were much shorter and more expensive massages versus what our children had paid for. Afterwards, we were asked to pay a 20% gratuity for each therapist. After explaining the situation to our children, we were informed the 20% gratuity had already been paid. We ended up paying for shorter, more expensive massages and 40% gratuities!! Request for

Great attention to detail and very clean! The front desk staff was a bit annoyed that we didn't make a reservation, but was nice enough to fit us in for a boardwalk basic. Great view, relaxing and quiet. Wish they had offered water, but oh well. They gave me a small glass of cold water when I asked.

The most expensive manicure I ever received and yet polish only lasted a few days! Plus I was on vacation which means no house work and my nails chipped after 3 days!!!! Not worth the price. Plus they add in a 20% gratuity. Would never return ever!!!!! I went with my sister in law and her polish was chipping after 3 days as well.

Definitely way overpriced for the service. The view is nice and so is the staff, however, the skill level and quality of service is lacking. I get my nails done regularly at all kinda of salons and have never reviewed one poorly. As a matter of fact I have never left a review for a nail salon period. My sister and I were here for a bridal party appointment, her and I were both disappointed. We even had to tell the technician to add a second coat on the bride's toe because it was streaky. I would typically give that much but it just kind of annoyed me that they planned on that amount I guess a lot of people on Vaca don't. 2nd. They cut the foam rubber toe separators in half. I wantched one manicurist cutting a whole box of them in half and taking them out of the packaging and I wondered why they did that. Well they only use half of a 5 toe foam separator per foot

This review is strictly regarding the bridal party package offered by Aqua Spa. I was recently a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and she booked Aqua Spa to get our hair done for the big day. While the spa is nice and overlooked water, we were crammed into a corner as we each waited to get our hair done. Not a big deal, but when we were constantly made to feel in the way by staff, it became a little frustrating.
