Charitable Pharmacy Of Central Ohio
Website
At the Charitable Pharmacy, we provide medication, health screenings, health and wellness education, medication counseling, and social program referrals at no cost for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured Franklin County residents. At the time of your phone appointment, pharmacy staff will call you at the number you provided.

Calls typically last 20-30 minutes and must take place before we can fill your prescriptions. To assist in the process, please ask your doctor to send your prescriptions to the pharmacy electronically. After you complete your phone appointment, we can begin to fill your prescriptions. It takes an average of 2 - 3 business days to get your medicine ready for pick up.

The staff at CHARITABLE PHARMACY are amazingly kind, caring and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable & welcoming. Phone calls are always returned promptly. Most importantly, was being treated with respect and dignity. For myself, this organization is a gift from God. I struggle on a fixed income. The burden of several hundred dollars worth of Rx, that I cannot live without, was killing me. I highly recommend CHARITABLE PHARMACY for anyone unable to afford their Rx.

The students and staff are hard working, caring and dedicated pharmaceutical techs. They are not paid but you would never know it since they treat everyone with care and respect.

Only need appointment the first time. Free prescriptions and very helpful pharmacy students you wouldn't normally talk to in a store. The receptionist is very nice. You have to wait up to 4 hours for your medicine and can't leave. I went there for a year until I got tired of driving there and waiting. I just use Good RX now, get huge discounts.

These pharmacists and technicians, first of all, are working ALL on a volunteer basis, for free, to give you FREE medicine, so please don't be upset about the wait times! Secondly, they keep better records at Charitable Pharmacy and know me and my health issues better than any of my doctors do. I went there for years (need to go back) and they have saved my life for years. The first time you go, prepare yourself for a super long wait, and everytime thereafter, still prepare yourself for a bit of a wait, but remember, these people truly care about you and are taking THEIR time saving YOUR life,

Everyone is always courteous, from the receptionist to the pharmacist who speaks to you and educates you. I have a chance to ask questions and get healthy tips every visit. I wish all pharmacies were like this!
