When we first opened in March of 1990 andour focus area was on a single county. Since that time we have grown exponentially, building an expansive property portfolio and an untold number of happy clients. Currently we provide condominium and homeowner association management expertise and manage some of Southern California's best associations.

The customer service people are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND CARELESS!

Specially a lady named Lynette.
We have purchased and moved to the new condo in Glendale, CA about 1 year ago. Aberdeen Management happened to be our condo servicing company.
So, making the long story short: for all the time we are living here we did not receive a single bill from these company!
I tried to call and email them for the past SIX MONTHS to find out what my payment is and what would be the mailing address to send the check to.
Lynette answered couple of times something that is not connected to the actual questions

I called 5 times and left 5 return call back messages to Lynette.
Never called back ... very unprofessional system.
I wanted to correct my HOA can send me home owner's insurance for my lender.
But never replied back email or phone calls.
In 2014, she was great to assist but seems like she has an iPad on her hand and never come to the office for any work. Just tossing emails and problem never been solved.

I originally wasn't going to write this review. Aberdeen Managed our HOA for several years and while they were supremely unhelpful and we ultimately left because we couldn't take it anymore, I had no interest in piling onto them in a public forum.

That was until Lynette and her team delayed getting necessary operating documents and information to our new management company as a way of spiting us for ending our contract with her. Further, she took to slandering us to residents, blaming delays that were directly due to her obstruction on us and the new company.

It has now been two months

I'm on our HOA board and after 6+ years, we've had to move on. In the beginning, Lynette was nice, on top of things and really did help, however, now, everything is a fight. Emails always go unanswered using the excuse that there is a computer problem. I can go on and on but they are difficult to work with, unclear about policy and not much help at all. I also didn't appreciate her private email to me about how bad the other board members were... very rude.

Since our departure (only a week ago) we've gotten a bill for transfer of paperwork (fine) but another transfer bill.

This management is rude and unprofessional. They never return your phone call! All I need was copy of master insurance decoration. They just gave me insurance company phone number and wanted me to get myself. Their insurance company didn't care. They took forever time to return my request. This is management job to send me a copy of insurance. We are paying money for this service ! I will find out how to sue this company !

My last review was an understatement! I want to correct it by adding a little more to my story.

I was a renter in one of the units that was managed by this Property management company/ hoa. I was given a 60 day notice to vacate by the property management company of the unit (not Aberdeen) I truly believe in my heart it's all because of this company. I feel my family and I were being discriminated against and were not treated fairly! I am, to this day fighting alleged charges for fines, but till this day have yet to see any fines or copies of bills for what I was sent to collections for.

The fact that their website is under construction during the business days tells me they don't have it together. Two of the previous comments that have good marks are probably dummy ones. I suggest that if your HOA is under Aberdeen, you need to do an investigation as to where your funds are going. If you still can't get any answers, then a class action lawsuit is necessary.

My experience with Aberdeen has been nothing but first-rate professional! The entire staff has been responsive and sensitive to my issues and requests with an upbeat attitude. Our property manager, Angie, is terrific. I've had emergency situations on a weekend that needed immediate attention and she's always been quick to respond, and stays 'on it' to resolution.
I'm very satisfied with Aberdeen on all counts!

After reading reviews...I'm glad they never returned my 2 phone calls to get info for them to manage our hoa! I figured if they didn't call me back after 2 messages they didnt' want my business...couldn't imagine how they would be once they had us as a client!

This management company lacks rationality, professionalism, and legality. I personally could have sued Susan on multiple occasions for violation of privacy, defamation, etc. We overpay them for a service that is below par. You have a better chance of getting a hold of President Obama than Susan. Unfortunately the board (at the Valley View Complex in Glendale) enjoys paying high rates for mediocre services and doesn't find the necessity to venture elsewhere for a better homeowner's management company that is within reasonable price(s).

Have been dealing with Susan for over a month regarding an issue. Highly inefficient, never returns phone calls, insults homeowners and is unprofessional in many other ways. She is obviously ignorant to many of the details contained in the HOA documents of our building. It's amazing that this company still manages property.

Completely unprofessional in every means possible. Calling their office is a futile attempt at trying to reach someone as they have no phone attendant. Calls are directed to your buildings property manager as long as you know what extension to dial; however, a message left is a guaranteed phone call unreturned.

Their billing practices are unscrupulous. I've been fighting (via email) made up fees (charged by Aberdeen, not my HOA) and late charges for months. They just sent me a notice that they will start the process of foreclosure on my property for a $200 repair bill, which they never

Thumbs down. Unfortunately have dealt with this company for years regarding multiple issues. Unprofessional service, they certainly don't value the homeowner. Lots of unreturned phone calls, inefficient service. I dealt with Susan which was infuriating, not sure what the other staff is like.
