Over the years, I have come to understand that the people with the most need for styling support are those with thin and fine hair.
If your hair is thinning, you may be interested in learning about some dynamics that promote hair loss. The rate of hair growth is influenced by such things as age, race, sex, season, nutrition status as well as hormonal status. Hair tends to grow faster during the warm spring and summer months. That said, the average rate of growth is 1/2 per month.
Whether your hair is curly naturally, or because you had a permanent wave, there are some tips to consider to make the most of your hairstyle. Poodle perms became popular in the eighties and those with thin hair really loved them for two reasons. She is personable, always listens to my preferences, has a clean shop and always gives a perfect perm and cut. I was looking for someone that deals with thinning hair and found Wave Hair Salon. Catherine has helped me in finding products and solutions to my issue. She's very knowledgeable about many things and I always enjoy our conversations. The salon is clean, prices are very reasonable and the customer service is awesome. I drive from Monument to have my hair cut and colored every 6 weeks. To me, this salon is worth the drive!

I have been going to Catherine's for years. I always had difficulty with many hairstylists because I have very fine thin hair, especially on top. I was learing of trusting hairstylists because more often than not, they wouldn't listen to me and ended up frying my hair. Since finding her years ago, I have only gone to another salon once and that was because my boyfriend got me a gift certificate to a well known salon. I didn't want to use it but I knew he spent a lot of money on it so I finally got the courage to use it 6 months later. Sure enough, she burned my hair. In fact, it was burned so bad

I've been with Catherine many years and she does a great job cutting my short hair. I always get compliments. Lately she gave me a "spiked" hair cut and I love it! So do my friends. I've even had someone at a restaurant tell me she liked it!
