Services
Our recreational karate Program offers instruction for ages 3-Adult with classes specially broken down to specific age and experience. Our recreational Program offers classes two time a week and focuses on the Traditional Okinawan Karate Ryu-Ha known as Goju Ryu. In this program you will gain strength, flexibility and confidence as well as acquiring the knowledge of a wonderful Traditional Okinawan Karate Style.

My daughter decided to switch from soccer to karate this year. She started at stoneybrook karate and honestly we didn't know what to expect. Sensei Tim and everyone there were very welcoming and encouraging. We felt like a part of a big family. Before long she joined team and now a blue belt. She absolutely loves it and looks forward to practice. We already noticed progress in her focus and discipline. We can't be more happy with our choice and highly encourage you to give it a try. You won't regret it.

Goju Ryu Karate School. This Dojo has an Excellent structure and very professional Senseis.
With many nationals champions it’s a good place to be an professional karate athlete or just for an after school . The Dojo has classes from small kids to adults. The Dojo is located in a plaza with very easy parking lot.

Highly recommend Sensei Tim and the entire team at Stoneybrook karate. Since enrolling my daughter (who has recently reached her second belt) not only have we witnessed her confidence increase but have seen her begin to develop friendships with all of the other students within her class. Sensei Tim (which we were told from other parents as well) strives to make the dojo a true family environment. We look forward to many years with sensei Tim and the family at Stoneybrook Karate and seeing our daughter test one day for her Black Belt in Goju-ryu.

My daughter is so happy to be training here. The attention each Sensei gives to her and ALL the kids in every class is wonderful. You see how much they care about the sport and love teaching it. I have been looking for a martial arts dojo for my family. We had doubts since we have been to other dojos and there was no direction from the instructors. Sensi Tim asked us what our goals were and my family immediately enjoyed training at his dojo. My daughter and son excelled at karate in the past 2 years and I was pleasantly surprised that they both became national champions this year. Furthermore, I am impressed how the principles that Sensi Tim taught my kids improved their self-confidence, fitness and discipline. They even improved their grades in school. My family has been coming to Stoneybrook Karate for a few months now and the experience has been fantastic. The Dojo focuses on real karate and proper technique and form. The Sensei team is knowledgeable and the environment is always positive and stresses hard work and dedication. My young children are learning a lot and having fun.

I strongly recommend Stoneybrook Karate to all parents looking to augment their child's activity with something that is positive, challenging, and will impart life skills. My son have being training there for over 7 years. Sensei Tim is not only a great instructor; is like a second father for my kid. Since keep doing an awesome job with my older son, I decide to get into the program my other two children. I will never stop thanking sensei Tim and his team for help my daughter in her confidence. Karate is not only a sport is a life style and my 3 kids enjoy being at the dojo and learn every day.
