Dr. Mike became the first pediatric dentist in western North Dakota when he started Goebel Pediatric Dentistry in 1987. He wanted to provide a dental home that could offer a positive dental experience to infants, children, adolescents and patients with special needs. The practice has since expanded with the additions of two of Dr. Mike's sons: Dr. Bryce and Dr. Drew.

Services
Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
For more information concerning pediatric dentistry, please visit the website for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.

So I was not going to post a review but after the the call I received today here it goes…
In October I had to take my daughter in for a tooth to be pulled..I went to global because they are pediatric and when I had spoken to them months ago when I first brought her in they said that they would handle pulling her tooth in a non traumatic way…well that was not the case…as they had me hold my screaming child down while they pulled her tooth and then proceeded to rush us out of the office with her mouth still bleeding and her screaming and crying and I had to sit in my truck for 45 minutes trying

We had a "less than impressed" experience at another pediatric dentist in the area, which resulted in one of my children having to be held down and crying during the exam, so we decided to give Goebel a try after asking a few friends. We were very, very HAPPY with their visit to Goebel. The dentist was understanding of my child's past negative experience and took the time to make her comfortable with him and made adjustments. The environment was inviting, the staff was very friendly, and I thought the fees were very reasonable (we do not have insurance). Very pleased!

The issue is Operations- The Billing side of Goebel sure was disappointing. Every practice is able to provide EOB (Estimate of Benefits) when they have access to the desired treatment plans and your current Dental Policy. When the practice says come back, get these fillings done ETC., it’s absolutely ethical to give parents an idea of what they can expect to pay after their INS pays. All modern Dental practices have access to this information, if they choose to, and can share it before the procedures are even scheduled. Someone needs to be hired/cross-trained to execute EOBs, make courtesy calls

I'm truly impressed with this dentistry. My 3 year old needed to have a cavity filled and the dental assistant and dentist explained every single step to her and made her feel so comfortable. The whole process took probably less than 20 minutes. After, she got to pick out 5 toys and a balloon. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. This place is the best!
