I'm surprised to see that I'm in the minority with this opinion, but I've had a great experience with Axis. Waritta Howell is a patient and understanding physician who makes level-headed decisions regarding my medication regimen. I trust her and hope she stays with Axis.
I also see a talk therapist through Axis and she is wonderful. Mika is kind, funny, and relatable. I appreciate her input and she's more than just a sounding board in terms of talk therapy.
I highly recommend these two professionals to friends and those in Maryland.

Such an abusive place! Poor service, Doctors don't fulfill their obligations with appointments nor follow ups. This facility seems to be taken advantage of their mental I'll patients. I have even attempted to advocate for my sister. I was told maybe you should find her another practice. Verging on the point of medical malpractice. I will be reporting them to the board.

Owe 1100 dollars to a debt collector because they said that I didn’t have insurance and that my address was undeliverable which is 100% false. I am finding all of this out over a year later. They also had all my contact info along with emergency contacts and did not once get ahold of me concerning the money i apparently owed them. Seems pretty shady, to I feel like they work with the debt collectors so they both benefit from stealing peoples money. I had insurance at the time and they claimed I did not over a year later. I need answers ASAP

"The worst" doesn't begin to describe this "practice" - in quotes because they clearly haven't been taught or practiced any customer service. No one answers the phone. No one responds to emails or voicemail. Practitioners working with patients change every few weeks, and no one appears to be responsible for maintaining individual patient services - including renewals of prescriptions. And pharmacies have no better luck getting a response.
This is definitely a case of too big being too much. So, Axis, congrats on lassoing lots of docs to post your brand above their names. But that doesn't mean

Saved in my phone as AXIS OF EVIL.
They should be banned from the medical practice.
Never have I ever felt more discarded.
They will lie through their teeth and not answer the phone.

Do not go here ever. I saw a clinician here and had a severe allergic reaction to the medication prescribed. The provider would not advise me on how to manage the allergic reactions or what symptoms would require hospitalization. I ended up in the ER with anaphylaxis because she told me that difficulty breathing and throat swelling could be handled at home. The provider then went on leave and did not give me an alternate contact for a covering provider, which I wouldn’t have wanted anyway since I was so fed up with these people. I then had my name and email shared with all of the other patients

EDITED TO ADD: My issue was never resolved so I am not sure what the comment below my review really means.
This place has been good to me until now. I do appreciate the knowledge of Dr. Bauza but the medical support team is lacking. I have been out of my medication now for 2 days and it is a medication that I have been on for 9 years. I am hoping I don't end up in the hospital this week as I can't stop it cold turkey. The only reason I am out is because the office administration sent it to the wrong pharmacy after I explicitly asked for it to be removed from my account as it is a pharmacy I never

Do not see Lisa Gordon if she is still with this practice. The most dismissive person I have ever met, had absolutely no regard for my well being. I brought up the possibility of doing ECT treatments and she said she would never approve "something like that." She doesn't want to help you get better, and you are a complete nuisance to her if you try to make suggestions about your own health. She should be ashamed of herself as a medical provider and as a human.

My telehealth appointment with Dr. Dong lasted 15 minutes. The appointment was scheduled for 1 hour. She literally read questions off a chart, made me say "yes" or "no" responses, and then ended up prescribing medication. Every time I wanted to describe my depression in detail or the underlying root causes, Dr. Dong quickly told me to move along and keep saying "yes/no."
This is very dangerous as I need an emphatic and compassionate doctor who can actually listen to my problems. Physiatrists act both as physicians and psychologists. Yet Dr. Dong acted more like a robot - fill out this form, get

Like other reviewers, I have had to call multiple times and leave multiple messages to schedule follow up medication management appointments. I didn’t hear back on any of the messages I had left, and I ran out of my medication. I asked the pharmacy to request a refill but after a few days it wasn’t filled. I was having withdrawal symptoms. I finally got through to a receptionist who rudely told me I hadn’t seen the doctor in over 3 months. I explained that I had left multiple messages and no one returned my calls. She said she would put a request in to the doctor for the refill, and hung
