DO NOT RECOMMEND. At my initial consultation, I was told several things that after signing a contract with an expensive, NON REFUNDABLE retainer, turned out to be completely false. If you'd like an attorney that is uncommunicative to the point of utter uselessness, feel free to use this firm. So many aspects of my case were not discussed with me prior to executing and I am extremely dissatisfied with the results. Do not waste your time or money.

11 out of 10 stars!!! If you're searching for a lawyer stop now you have found them! I just have to say how amazing it was working with BJ! I have never seen such a professional in the court room. Now having experienced such a kind person who took the time out of his day to help my case two days in a row out of the kindness of his heart was hands-down the most incredible thing and faith restoring experience I've ever experienced. Well now I know which of the reviews are legitimate review on here because I met one half of Abbott & Abbott via phone consult today and I have no doubt in my mind about my case and the scarring that family court has caused my family and have very little faith remaining for anyone in this field so approached my pursuit for legal counsel more cautiously this time around and called this firm through personal reference from a trusted friend, although I had just gotten their name and no detail as to their quality of care, i was at least glad I asked for a phone consult instead of wasting my time

BJ Abbott is an exceptional attorney who fights hard for his clients. I noticed a couple of negative reviews on here but I think you have to keep in mind that attorneys can't fix everything that is broken no matter how good they are. If you want an honest, hard working attorney who genuinely cares about you and your individual case you should hire Abbott & Abbott. No one can make every client happy so I would set up a consultation and decide for yourself.

Regretfully, I chose Abbott & Abbott for a service because my daughter was using him. I hired them to contest a subpoena served to me. They wrote a polite letter to the opposing counsel requesting it be withdrawn. The request was firmly denied and opposing counsel told us to do whatever we had to do. Abbott did nothing and sent me a big fat bill. I would NEVER recommend Abbott and Abbott for anything. Moving on, I hired a new attorney who actually represented me and defended me with the law. My new attorney immediately took action and filed the Motion to Quash and the Rule Nisi in my case.

This firm, who I hired to help me with my child custody case, did not adhere to our agreement to not go forth with my case or do anything that would cause me additional charges until they received my approval. They then charged me for fees that were unnecessary due to the discontinuation of my case. I contacted the firm several times, and was told I still needed to pay the fees. I then contacted both BJ and his wife directly via email, to which they both ignored my emails. They were very unprofessional.
