Thanks Jesse and his stepson Danny were great. They did a very careful and professional job and that is appreciated. They finished up about 9 PM so it was a long day for them, but they never hurried or took shortcuts. In 1977, Heliocol became the world's first solar pool heating collector of its kind, featuring a patented individual tube design and mounting hardware combined with a one-piece overmolded construction. Since then, Heliocol systems have been known for their design excellence with a proven track record for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
As compared to heating with gas, electric heat pumps offer an environmentally friendly method of pool heating. Electric heat pumps operate by using heat from the air in the surroundings which is heated by a compressor. While heat is delivered to water, cold air is let out from the top of the heating unit.
These heaters run either on propane or natural gas and are ideal and efficient options when used for short durations like on weekends. If you live in a region where the temperature averages below 55 degrees or you don't intend to use the pool all through the swim season, gas pool heaters are the ideal option.
Our systems use your existing pool pump to push water into the solar panel. The sun exposure heats the water and sends it back into your pool. The cycle continues until your pool reaches your desired temperature. And you control the temperature with a digital thermostat. A solar system can stand alone or be used in conjunction with a traditional heater.

Even though it's impossible to get anyone to do pool improvements at the moment due to the housing boom, WarmSwim was amazing and super-responsive. The install was very easy, and when we had a problem they were quick to respond and made it clear that if any other issues arose that they would be there for us.

I live in North Texas (Dallas area) We shopped around and spoke to many people about how to heat our in-ground pool. After getting a quote from a gas plumber for $5000.00 to find out that this was just for a gas connection and they had to dig and pull permits. Plus the cost of the heater which was 3500.00. We called Warm Swim to discuss solar heating options. I’m so glad I did they took the time to educate us and I realized that once we paid for the solar heating system one time that there is not ongoing gas costs ect. The system was still less than a gas heater quote. The installers were professional

The Warm Swim team is top notch! Communication throughout the install was fantastic and the crew couldn’t have been nicer. The installation looks extremely professional and clean and so far I am very happy!! I haven’t seen the results of the actual install yet but I have high hopes. Would highly recommend Warm Swim, they were a delight to work with and did a fantastic job.

We are San Antonio residents and had our WarmSwim solar pool heater installed in June of 2019. Prior to the pool heater, we were lucky if the water temp would get in the low-to-mid 80’s throughout the pool season. The primary factor for this was that 2/3 of our pool surface was in the shade from a Live Oak tree. Tom Brannon was quick to respond to our initial inquiry, visited our home and educated us on the science of solar heating relative to our pool setting. Warmswim installed a roof solar array and replaced essentially everything on our pool equipment pad. Tom the owner, seems to be a leader in the solar heating industry. Jared the chief of operations provided workmanship not typically seen. All of their work, but especially the plumbing was thought out and completed with a very clean result. The customer support was above and beyond.

These guys traveled from Austin to Houston to install a solar heater on my pool. First and foremost, their product is fantastic -- solar heating of your pool with NO gas or electricity cost! If you don't have a pool heater, this solar heater will extend your swimming months from early spring to late fall ... Easily adding 2-3 months to the use of your pool each year (and perhaps more depending on the weather).
Finally ... And the real reason I am writing this review ... You could not ask for a more knowledgeable, helpful and friendly group of guys as contractors

It wasn't inexpensive to purchase, but my pool heater does a good job for basically no operating cost. It takes warm, sunny weather for it to be effective. I keep my pool about 91, which right now requires little heating - the pump diverts water to the collectors only part of the four hours it's on per day. When temps were closer to 100 I used the cooling function at night, and it seemed to drop a couple/few degrees.
Due to lousy weather in April, it really didn't extend the season too much on that end, but we'll see how running it all winter makes a difference next year. It

I am so pleased with the project that American Solar Living did for me. They were very courteous and willing to take the time to explain things to me. They are very knowledgeable and I felt were committed to making certain that I was satisfied with their work and their price. They left the work area clean and neat. I would definitely use them for my next project.

Tom did an excellent job for me' his estimate was the exact charge for the job. He cleaned up every day before leaving the job sight,and he enabled me to have 2 or 3 extra months of swim time. His construction is very sturdy and he explained how to work the control box very succinctly until I understood it compleatly. Only 3 steps on and 3 steps off. I would recommend him to my friends and family as a person who does what he said he would do.
