10 days after delivering my third child I had the opportunity to spend the day at the Brookside Baby studio. I stepped into the most calming, welcoming studio I've ever seen. Each detail was creatively thought out, from the hangers for each tiny outfit, to the fresh fruit and snacks for the new moms.
Settle into a comfy chair in the studio's living room and relax with a cup of tea or coffee - or maybe a nice lemonade in the summer. We'll start a conversation about what makes your family unique, and how best to create beautiful images to transfer onto custom heirloom art for your home - that's the goal of each session!
With today's digital technology, we can show you what your portraits will look like in your home before they even get there! Our specially designed software makes portrait art fun, as it allows us to project your portraits onto a digital image of your wall. It even allows us to scale the images creating a perfect fit!

My family had a great experience with Susannah of Brookside Baby. She’s a true professional in her craft. My son was born right at the beginning of quarantine which left no choice for us to do a shoot for his first days of life. So we decided to do something when he’d be a sitter. I was looking for an art piece I’d look many years from now and love it. Susannah not only wowed me with her work but also with the quality and the final package delivery. She’s attentive, kind, and has keen eye on details. Could not recommend her enough.

Susannah was such a joy to work with. From the first time meeting her I could tell she was very passionate about her craft. She made my family and I feel comfortable every step of the way. My fiancé and I cannot express how happy we are with our son’s first portraits. Susannah is an amazing photographer! Her tiny cottage makes you feel like you are at home. This was so important for my daughter and my granddaughter. Susannah really gets to know the baby and the family that she is working with. She is professional, patient, warm, and has a natural eye for getting that perfect shot that will make your heart melt. The newborn photos, the picture frame photo album, the heirloom photo box, the photo locket, and the photo for my desk she created for our family are outstanding! Many people have said the photos she took of my granddaughter reminds them of Anne Geddes

I had a really good experience at Brookside baby. The environment was very comfortable and even though my baby was born at 27 weeks, i was so happy that I didn't miss that opportunity to have newborn pictures of my little one. Susannah at Brookside Baby portraits does an amazing job! She spends the time getting to know your family so she knows how to theme the portraits. The whole process was very easy. She is a newborn expert for sure! Highly recommended if you want custom portraiture and not just a flash drive with pictures.

Working with Susannah was incredible. She was totally prepared with incredible and adorable props, backgrounds, and outfits for the baby. Susannah was amazing with our 3 year old and kept her engaged the entire time. She made the entire session relaxed and fun...no easy feat with a 3 year old, a newborn, and sleep deprived parents! We were blown away at our photo reveal. We were in tears after the first picture, and the tears did not stop. Susannah was able to capture the personality of each of our children perfectly. The photos were truly amazing and are something we will cherish forever.”
