I'm currently on Day 9 of Brooke's Gauntlet 30 day challenge but it has been life changing! At the start of this program I referred to it as a diet and excercise program. I now refer to it as a lifestyle program. The changes, even after only 9 days, have been very noticeable. I started it mainly to lose a few pounds but what I have learned from this 9 days in, is mind blowing. It has helped me change my lifestyle so that I eat better/healthier to fuel my body as well as helping me to find ways to fit exercise into my daily life. I've been taking Brooke's Gauntlet program - a 30-day fitness+food+lifestyle challenge and just signed up for round #2. I've found it very effective because it incorporates both food AND exercise, and Brooke provides DAILY accountability, tough love, encouragement, and course corrections. It's just the right amount of structure and flexibility. In addition, you'll be part of a really supportive communities of other Gauntleteers, who are part of the journey with you. I have tried several diets and workout routines, from personal trainers to gyms to keto to intermittent fasting to nothing. My body and mind knew those fad diets weren't helping me long term. I gave up on exercise routines mostly when it began to be a "lone game," the once a week trainer didn't live in my head, and family didn't share the same interests. I've been doing the Gauntlet challenge with Brooke over the past 2 months and am so glad I learned about her program! It's helped me to form better healthy habits and to lose a few inches. Started working out with Brooke about a month ago and joined her Gauntlet challenge. It's been a really really great experience so far. The support, the encouragement, the workouts - and the best part is she meets you where you are at with nothing but love and inspiration. She pushes you to challenge yourself and is always there to cheer you on. Has definitely been a positive experience and would recommend her and Fit Happens LA to anyone!!

Brooke is everything you want in a personal trainer. A drill sergeant/friend/comedian/parent. She truly cares about her clients in a super fun way. You don't want to let her down so you work that much harder. It is all not about getting in shape but a whole life change at how you look at food and your body. I really have enjoyed my time training with her and feel the best I have felt in years.

I have never done personal training or a boot camp before--I was always afraid I would die, haha. But Brooke was fantastic. I am a middle-aged mom of 3, in good health, but I have always hated exercise. It's just not fun for me. But I want to be strong and be a good example to my kids. My teen daughters and I (various levels of fitness-no sports experience to former dedicated athlete) did personal training with Brooke as well as The Gauntlet and her zoom classes. I've worked out with a lot of trainers in my lifetime and Fit Happens LA is the best. I do private training and Brooke comes to my home and kicks my butt! She incorporates creative strength training which keeps me interested--and challenged! They also offer Bootcamp classes in person and online, as wel as The Gauntlet which is a 30 day lifestyle challenge integrating nutrition and exercise and more with a FB group that is super supportive and hilarious at the same time: ) Definitely give it a try -- I highly recommend!!!

When I signed up, I had just moved to LA . I was overweight and knew maybe 4 people. Brooke is funny, motivating, and inspiring, both for a workout coach and in life. Best decision ever. I lost 35 lbs my first year and kept most of it off for the last two years. More importantly, I am stronger and I have a great group of supportive friends now. Join us!

I lost forty pounds in four months and have kept it off for another three. In nearly three decades of yo-yo dieting and exercise, this is BY FAR the best and most effective journey to health I've ever had. Brooke has created an amazing community and has actually made it FUN to workout. I cannot recommend Fit Happens LA enough. It has made me incredibly strong and I am a completely different person both physically and emotionally after starting this journey.

A couple of months ago, I had hit rock bottom with my weight, exercise and diet. I emailed Brooke and told her my situation and she said "get to bootcamp. Supportive women, fun workouts, etc." Understatement of the year. What I got on my first day (and every day since!) has been priceless. The workouts are top notch, your fellow bootcampers (and trainers!) are kind, supportive and STRONG. There to help you when you feel like you've hit your limit. Brooke and Doug truly have something special here. They are amazing trainers and it shows in the results they yield from their clients

Working with Brooke and Fit Happens LA has quite honestly changed my life. I am in the best shape I've ever been in and I've had a blast getting there. If you had told me even 6 months ago that I would be exercising every day and loving it - I would have laughed at you.
