It all started with a fateful apple. A fateful loaf of apple bread, that is. Joann Roth-Oseary came from a family that loved to entertain and she learned her skills from the best. One day some 33 years ago, she baked a few apple breads and packaged them on apple-shaped cutting boards as gifts. Within three weeks she had sold more than 750 to friends, and had won the heart of her first corporate client.

They catered a party for me and it was spectacular! The food was delicious, the staff outstanding, and they left the house perfectly clean. They even helped move furniture back and take the rentals out to the garage! The planning was easy- Joann is very easy to work with and she really knows her stuff. The second meeting included the gal who was in charge the night of the party and she was incredible. When guests came a little later than expected, she shifted the times for the toasts and dinner and kept things moving seamlessly. Definitely will use them again (this was the second big event

The food is good. And they will set up and organize your tables etc
That's it.
They are one of the most expensive caterers in all of LA.
For my guest list of 85 people, (40 of them between the ages of 6-15) a buffet of kosher items, it was way over $11,000.00.
And to top it off all of the food that was leftover and was supposed to be packed up for me to take home I never got. As I was told there wasn't any suitable food to be sent. I'm positive that the staff and their families are being well fed from each event afterwards.

SITK was amazing all around. We hired them and worked with Jason to cater a pre-dinner party at our home for the night before our son's Bar Mitzvah. The food was so good, the service so perfect and the presentation so elegant that our guests thought it was the actual Bar Mitzvah. Many of them said 'how are you going to top this at the actual reception?' Jason was a pleasure to deal with and the SITK team was beyond professional. Our guests never had to look for a drink refill or food, plates and napkins were cleared efficiently in an unobtrusive way, and our house was left in perfect

We've hired them twice and they are EXCELLENT! Awesome all around! Family owned and female owned catering service that does everything on site. They bring the kitchen to you! Man, they were cooking up a storm with yummy smells wafting all over the place!! Excellent customer service, attention to detail, presentation and connections with local farmers and other sources. All staff were friendly, helpful, personable, and happy to be of service. The food was divine! You would not know that it was catered food as it's very high end and tasty! I used Someone's in the Kitchen for my Son's Bar Mitzvah. I worked with Jason and he was amazing. They were not the cheapest Caterer out there but they delivered everything they promised. Jason worked with me on the menu to help meet my budgetary constraints. The food we tried at the "food tasting" was the exact food we had at the party. Everyone that attended commented on how well the food was presented and even more important how well it tasted. All of his staff was extremely professional. I was always able to reach Jason or someone on his team. A lot of companies
