Michael and his team are fantastic. I needed an unconventional men's wedding band (that's not re-sizable) re-sized, and he was able to provide me with a couple good options for achieving what I needed.

The ring now fits me perfectly and looks amazing. Thanks Michael! I'll be bringing my business here from now on.

Had my ring that I purchased from an outside jeweler resized here yesterday and am extremely happy with the result! It only took a couple of hours. The ring is flawless and they polished it well for free, leaving it sparkling more than the day that I got it. Would definitely trust them with my future fine jewelry.

The team here is very kind, knowledgeable and professional. Their selection offers jewelry and watches including vintage and estate pieces too. There's several unique pieces on their website. Their sales area is very clean and bright in a nice location with ample parking. They offered sensible advice on my repair with reasonable pricing.

Came in today to get 2 watch batteries replaced & some links taken out. Service was great! The two gentleman at the store were able to get it done within 15 minutes. I ended up dropping off the items and going back to my office but came back shortly after lunch and everything was neatly packaged and ready. Will 100% be my new go-to place for all my watch/customization needs.

My new favorite jeweler in Pasadena! I recently took 2 rings here to get repaired and sized. They did beautiful work at a very fair price. Turn around time was quicker than expected. They have a new loyal customer!

I just left this business. Such professionals. I came in to get my inexpensive watch battery (I bought my watch at Target) replaced and they did it in 10 minutes (possibly less) and it was $15. Super quick and super efficient. Really friendly people too. They even moved my watch to the right time and date! Definitely recommend!

Great work on the re-sizing of my wedding band, we were met with great and fast service, and some friendly faces. That's always appreciated, and that's definitely a way to build a customer base. Best of luck and we'll see you soon!

Came in to have a necklace repaired. The gentleman examined it carefully, then quoted fair prices for a simple repair he could do immediately, or a more complex one that would require me to leave it. I chose the simple option, he did the work, and voilĂ ! I'm wearing my beloved necklace again.

Professional, courteous, and sensibly priced.

BEWARE! THEY LOST ONE OF MY RINGS! I took three rings in for resizing, and left with only two. Of course they apologized profusely and insisted that this never happens, but be warned if you use this jeweler. To be fair, the quality of the work on the 2 rings I did get back was good, and they did offer to replace the ring, but as with many antique rings, it's not replaceable as far as sentimental value goes. In the end, I did not have to pay for the resizing of the 2 rings I did get back, plus an additional (what I felt was a measly) 70 dollars. But my ring is lost forever.

I called Valia's at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, to ask if they had a specific item. Once they checked their stock, and told me that they had it, I asked them what time they close. They then told me that they close at 5:30 p.m.

I told them that I would be rushing over to pick up the item, as I needed it that day, and I should get there just before closing. When I arrived, at 5:18, the doors were already locked, and nobody answered.

Due to Valia's poor business principles, and outright lying to me on the phone, I was not able to get what I needed.

This is a poor way to run a business

A family business with old fashioned accountability, care, and expertise. I always feel comfortable asking them to repair my watch, replace batteries, or repair jewelry because of their knowledge and precise approach to taking every customer seriously. It feels like a medical practice for jewelry ;). Very nice people.

I came to them from a recommendation from Vroman's to do a VERY last minute job. Not only were they gracious about it, they finished the job in less than an hour and at a very reasonable price. I couldn't have asked for more. I will visit them again for a jewelry repair and see if they are as great as they were the first time.

Bought a watch from them recently. Called ahead and found out what models they carry and got some quotes over the phone.

When I went in, the gentleman helping me was patient and answered all of my specific questions. He gave me a good discount and I was out the door!

First, I have been here a couple of times to get a ring guard because it is right by my work until I realized they charge $10 for a flimsy one and Arnold's charges $5 for a much sturdier one.
I brought my engagement ring in to be cleaned and the man there warned me that sometimes the smaller stones come out in the machine that steams it, but that they get caught by the machine and can be put back in. A stone came out and they lost it! And on top of it, they behaved totally put upon and rude as though I had inconvenienced them by having to look for it. The rudeness was almost as brutal

I appreciate small businesses that take care of the local community. I was stupid and took out my watchband from my new Citizen watch. Juan took it in and put it back together no charge. Thanks. It is the little things that make a small buisnesses grow.

I really wish I could write a positive review; I remember this jeweler when he worked at a large fine jewelry store in Pasadena (long closed). When he first opened Valia's, the service (watch batteries, ring sizing) was reasonable and good.

After some time, I took them a charm bracelet that needed several charms attached and I was completely ripped off. I trusted Valia's pricing instead of comparison shopping, only to find afterwards that I could have had the same work done at literally a fraction of the price (by a reputable jeweler, not some jewel-mart place).

Not okay! Short-term
