Regular pap smear screening is the key to cervical health. It is important to meet with your provider on a regular basis for a routine pap smear. With no pain, a pap smear is a quick way to make sure there are no irregularities with your cervix. Oral Contraception, commonly called "the Pill", is taken daily to prevent pregnancy.

I was having severe complications due to a fibroid and researched doctors who perform less invasive procedures to deal with the issue. I found Dr. Preskill and talked to him about my desire to have the least invasive procedure possible with the shortest recovery time. He was more than attentive, he called me several times as he considered my concerns and the best procedure for me, and he answered all my questions (I had tons) in a manner that not only conveyed his wealth of knowledge, but also his respect for me as a potential patient. I traveled to IL to be under his care. He and his time where

There are not enough words to describe how incredible Dr. Preskill and team are. From the first day, I felt extremely well cared for. He is kind, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. I never once felt like I was not a priority and always felt a deep trust especially when it came to my health and asking the many questions I have had. Not only is he a brilliant doctor, but his team is as well. They always made me feel extremely welcome and well taken care of.
When it came to the delivery of my baby, I never once felt scared or worried. The quality of care is unsurpassed in my opinion. Any woman

Dr P has been my doctor for 20 years! I can't imagine going to any doctor other than him. Throughout the years he has taken great care of me, guided me through three pregnancies and delivered three beautiful babies. He is filled with knowledge and always the has answers to my questions. The staff is amazing as well. Becky and Susan are always understanding and compassionate. You can't find a better office to go to than this one.

One of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Dr. Preskill does not care about the needs of his patients. When I asked to receive orders for tests that he wanted done, he only approved for me to see his colleague that would have cost over $1000 for one visit. When trying to reason with him about the need for support and cost reduction, he wouldn’t budge. I ended up having to pay another doctor for a second opinion just so I could see a doctor and be near family for support when I had to get imaging done. I would never recommend anyone going to him if you are looking for a compassionate doctor that

I’ve known Dr. Preskil for two years and experience two pregnancies with them my first pregnancy was a stillborn due to cord accident dr. Preskil was so compassionate and so empathetic with the way he treated my situation. He was professional and was personal. My second pregnancy resulted in a healthy baby boy and he did everything he could to make sure that this time I went home with a healthy baby he really cares about his patients and he does everything in his power to make sure that we are happy with his service . He’s honest and straight to the point. he’s the only medical professional

Dr. Preskill is an amazing doctor! I enjoyed receiving my prenatal care under his orders and supervision. He's very thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns. Any time there was a possible concern, he took action. He did not just "hope" for the best or "wait to see what happens" like I have experienced with previous providers. His knowledge and expertise made me feel confident through my labor and delivery. Dr. Preskill delivered my healthy baby boy on 9/1/2020 after 6 hours of labor and a few pushes. I couldn't be happier! Top of the line service, excellent doctor! The staff is pretty

1000 stars for Dr. David Preskill and his staff!! Dr. Preskill has been my OBGYN for all four of my children and there is a reason why I have continued with him as my provider. Dr. Preskill knows his stuff! He is very personable, warm hearted and down to earth with being open and honest about the path of your pregnancy. He has a remarkable staff and they always go the extra mile to ensure your satisfied with each visit. I've followed Dr Preskill from hospital office to two new offices in 10 years, from hospital to new practiced hospitals and he has grown with his trusted partnership and

I have spent a long time considering how I was going to address my experience at TWH. I found out I am expecting, am new to the area, and did short research about an OBGYN in my medical group. During my first visit it felt rushed, and very little bedside manner. I did not receive any information on a positive pregnancy, the do's/don'ts, etc. Although my pregnancy was very early at the time, the doctor continued to re-iterate "IF" the pregnancy continues. This was unsettling, yet I tried to be realistic and fair.
My next appointment was essentially a check-in. I was told I would

Dr. Preskill is the best! If you are looking for GOOD gynecologist or starting your prenatal care, definitely go see him. He is honest and tells you what you need to hear. He always works in the best interest of his patients. One of my close friends recommended him to me years ago and a few of my other close friends see him as well. He delivered my first born through C-section. Beautiful! Cannot even notice my scar. I recently started care for my 2nd one coming and I am just so glad I can feel safe and know I can trust my doctor.

Dr. Preskill is extremely professional and caring. I loved his staff of nurses in the office. As a patient it was nice to see how respected and loved he is at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital. Dr. Preskill always made sure I was comfortable, my questions were answered and that I was alright. Several times I was the annoying patient needing a prescription for my kidney stones, antibiotics, and even hydrocortisone cream. Each time I called the on call number he literally called me back in less than 3 minutes! His staff squeezed me in many times to ease my concern and to put me on the fetal

MUST READ!!!!!!!
Let me start off by saying the staff Susan Becky and the other girls are absolutley amazing. They always take great care of me. Susan is absolutely wonderful she always does anything if you tell her something hurts she won't give up till she figures out what it is. i love them. But DR Preskill I am defintley not a huge fan of him. He has been my doctor since my first pregnancy back in 2015. He does not like Medicaid patients. He makes it very very obvious that it is. I habe very good insurance as my primary. but on to the really bad things. If you have a boy preskill will always

When I became pregnant with my first child 9 months ago, I then became Dr. Preskill's patient and was amazed by his level of attention and care. When I was battling a stomach bug for a few days and texted him at 4am on his advice, he immediately called me back and directed me to go to the hospital to ensure it wasn't anything serious and to ensure the baby was ok. This is one example of many times that he's gone above and beyond in providing care. His attentiveness and responsiveness made me feel like I was his only patient! I was clueless about a lot of things related to pregnancy

This is an updated review after delivering our little peanut. (My previous review was also 5 stars!)
Dr. Preskill goes above and beyond for his patients. Towards the end of my pregnancy I developed high blood pressure and was put on meds to keep it at bay. He called me of his personal phone for the first two days I was on the meds to see how i was doing. Who does that? It helped put me at ease.
We had our baby a few days ago...it did end up in an unexpected C-section. Dr. Preskill saw that I was nervous and scared and he sat with us and explained the process and why he felt like it was necessary

I found out I was pregnant right before I was due to transfer to my next duty station. Nurse Decker at the VA hospital wanted me to be seen prior to my transfer so she set me up with Dr. Preskill's office. From the beginning of my interaction with them I was 100% satisfied with the level of service I was receiving. They were able to take me last minute. Upon arrival at my appointment I instantly felt the warmth of the office. The entire staff was friendly, and despite me not being a permanent patient they treated me and my husband with the same respect as if we were staying. When the

Dr. Preskill and the entire staff are more than amazing. I never felt like I was asking a silly question and never felt so at ease. Even after the Navy moves my family to Florida (when I'm 30 weeks along), I know I can call and ask questions without having any fear of the your no longer a patient here mentality. NAS JAX has some big shoes to fill to insure my high risk pregnancy goes as smoothly as it has so far with this team. I will truly miss them, THANK YOU!

Dr.Preskill is the worst Doctor in the world. Because of this man negligence, I almost died from complications of a C-section. He Decided it was more important to enjoy a weekend away at a Bat Mitzvah than care for his patient. I ended up with a very serious MRSA infection.... and waited all weekend with a tapped off IV.... for Dr. Priskilla to respond!!! But he never did... the infection spread. By the time he showed up on Monday I was lucky to still be alive. After I fired him... I had a 50/50 chance of living.... I made it through surgery, I ended up on a wound Vac for 3 months.... DO NOT GO

I wish I would have done my research on this doctor before trusting him to perform two procedures on me. First of all, he did a surgery that I had absolutely no reason to have in the first place. I think he just wanted the money. He also very rushed. He did not take enough time to discuss these procedures with me and I did not understand what they were and why I was having them. He frequently just walks out of the room without even saying he is done. I recently had surgery at his office that should have been done in the hospital. He does NOT have an Ultrasound machine which was prob necessary
