Rob Yundt is a 3rd generation carpenter who was born and raised in the Matanuska Susitna Valley. This is the rudest most entitled property management company I have ever dealt with. money greedy, eviction notice happy for any reason they can come up with! God forbid ya try to stick up for yourself and you are the problem. Marni is a royal snob and they have a very high turnover. they will charge tenants for anything they want and add to your portal, and we can't do anything about it! I'm so glad to be getting out of here!

Enquired about a property and received extremely short one sentence emails stating I did not earn enough despite not stating in the advertisement that a certain income was required. In the emails they didn't elaborate what income was required and eventually said they already had enough candidates for the property. Came across as rude and inconvenienced.

We have had so many issues with our apartment manager by this company. They simply ignore all attempts we make to contact them. They will not answer their phones, emails, voicemails, messages. We have had constant yelling and shaking in our apartment from our neighbors, day and night. This company won’t do anything about it. I do not recommend them to anyone looking for a property manager or wanting to rent from one of their properties, as any problem you have will be entirely ignored. Incredibly disappointed, time and again.

Are not responsive to tenants needs. cheat you out of deposits. did not come in timely manner to fix things. do not return phone calls. had cracks at window frames due to earthquake causing moisture and then mildew. blamed on tenant. patio completely cracked nevet fixed. bathroom wall cracked by earthquake never fixed. blamed on tenant. all the… problems reported to rent in the valley never responded. light fixtures that never worked with bulbs that cost over 40 dollars, replaced once broke two days later. everything that they did fix was half fixed and required multiple visits. landscaping

They look for any reason to keep your deposit. they prorated my rent since I gave 30 day notice had me pay the prorated rent. the home was cleaner when I left that when I moved in and they turned around and charged me for 15 days extra rent. I moved in around the 10th of the month. since I was month to month I gave notice on the 4th and they agreed… by excepting my money n the prorated amounted as paid in full than turned around and charged me and then think I am paying for thier electric as well. disgusting company. they even charged me 12.50 for one light bulb which there were extra in

I saw a lot of apartments with this team and liked the last thing I saw(59). They asked me to pay the rent of 6 months in advance and I agreed - for financial reasons - but now it's been over a month that they don't even respond to my emails!

Worst management company I have ever seen. Treat their tenants with disrespect. Their accountant Marni is always rude. Manager Rebecca seems to be reasonable, she’ll help with any issues you have.
To improve, get an accountant that is a better people person who understands that life has challenges.

Bad. They gave me an appointment for a viewing, the address in Google maps was wrong, they didn't answer the phone and neither tried to call me. Their just accused me of being late and left. No apologies, of course.

We tried to work with them for two months and the only thing we were told was "there aren't any available units". We never saw anything, never met with anyone. These people must have a million applicants because there was ZERO initiative to help us into a place. We found a place on our own and now they won't return our "refundable" application fees… because they said they ran it. On what?? There's nothing available, is the only thing we heard for months! I will never use them in the future, I can't imagine how unprofessional they are when you have to deal with them on a monthly/daily basis

Awful! We lived in westerbaenstraat 65 for 4 years. First we had a dishwasher issue. It took 9 months, 15 emails, 5 times at the agency, many phone calls to have it changed. Same wih a leakage in the bathroom, more than a year. They've changed the locker of the house from one day to another without informing us. The shared facilities are not maintained (eg : no ringbells at all or not working for me and most part of the appartment). So many issues and lack of reactivity that I can't even write them all. Finally, for the final check, I've repainted all the walls, called an external company to clean

Rent is really affordable at my apartment complex. Any urgent maintenance requests are attended to in a timely manner. and, as long as you keep lines of communication open, they are willing to work with you. I am impressed with the service that i have had over the past year that i have been renting from them.

They seem to get a bad wrap but they’ve always taken good care of us. We’ve moved on but Jesse, the maintenance employee, was always so available and helpful in making things right. People like him are far and few between! I hope RITV values (and rewards) him.

My little niece accidentally clogged the toilet in their apartment which caused an accidental flood. The night after this accident, my family received a 24 hour Termination of Tenancy claiming the family deliberately flooded the unit by clogging the toilet and intentionally letting it run. This company wrote a false statement to justify evicting my family. It was an accident and Rent In The Valley ended up not sending a court ordered eviction like they threatened to do in their notice. I'm sure they knew they would have lost the case. Lastly, when my sister left them a review, she was told

Had a viewing with Rais and the team today, it was a good experience. Well behaved people, they are eager to listen you and give you enough time to put your points. That's what impressed me. At first Rent Valley seemed professional, just very slow to process our application for an apartment (more than 1 month). Got offered the lease eventually, and had to pay a EUR 500 deposit within 24hrs to take the property off the market. First red flag. The rental contract offered was full of unreasonable and illegal terms, (second red flag) and completely non-negotiable/changeable even though some terms were just factually wrong (third red flag), but since Dutch tenancy laws are quite protective, we decided to go ahead anyway. On the day of the signing, Rent Valley surprised us with another requirement

I will follow that Rent Valley is not professional at all. It is very complicated to have them on the phone or to get an answer to emails. They are not working well with their maintenance department, there is no communication. I lost my furnitures and my deposit due to the fact that they told me I could leave the furnitures in the apartment in order to sell it to the new tenant. However, the day after I left the apartment and move to another country, they call me and tell me that either they will keep my very expensive deposit, or I have one day left to come and pick up all the furnitures. I wouldnt rent from these guys if I shot myself in the foot. Terrible maintenance, outrageous fee if a day late. Nothings been fixed in our apartment, dryer doesn't work, washer machine acts up. The refrigerator hardly works, most of our food is warm and our dishwasher needs maintenance. Don't rent from these guys. Id give zero stars if they'd let me.

Terrible! Absolutely terrible! I was treated like garbage here. The manager, Molly(?) is racist. I had my bill on autocharge for rent, but was told the autocharge bill, which THEY set up, was late. So when I finally got the bill, I had to pay a late fee. I asked to change the autocharge schedule, but she refused and told me to take it to the bank, which had nothing to do with the whole transaction. Also, I tried to pay for the water bill, but I was told to wait, causing me to worry if that would be counted as late by them intentionally as well. The apartments are decent as they are new. Held up fairly well in the earthquake, just wall cracks. My complaint is that the management company is very slow to respond to problems. We have been waiting for a dishwasher to be fixed for more than 30 days with no response as to expected fix date. If you are 4 days late on rent they charge 75$ even if you've always been timely and they have had system errors. They could use some customer service improvement.
