Previously tried to consult with Ann on getting her services. She gave me a list of questions to contact my insurance with. After a few weeks of talking back and forth with my insurance and trying to get an accurate answer whether nutrition services were covered I contacted Ann informing her I wasn't able to get an exact answer.

Instead of trying to facilitate a solution she preceded to lecture me on why my insurance provider was the worst and why she was dropping them, this didn't really help the situation. I suggested perhaps she could just send her info to my insurance and see if

I had my experience with Ann. She is indeed knowledgeable about nutrition, diets & diabetes and uses props that are very helpful. I had to pay $150 for an hour & I felt very rushed in getting all the info I needed & not being able to get all my questions answered. Also felt she was distracted with a phone call that got us off track. I certainly don't feel I got my money worth. Now I have a folder full of charts & info I could have gotten from the Internet. For the money charged there should be a follow-up visit for questions included.

If you are looking for someone to help you get on track with your weight management or getting your diabetes under control she is the one to choose. I have known Ann for well over 25 years and I would highly recommend her.

Ann Pocapalia is a wonderful resource. She's got decades of experience in her practice as a dietician. What I like about her as a resource is her ability to approach the topic of diet and exercise from multiple perspectives. Each time I visit I get a reset on my approach to healthful diet. Very knowledgeable about many different aspects of diet. Not only weight loss - but managing energy levels, a reasonable approach to vitamins and nutrition. Highly recommend Ann as a counselor and professional dietician
