Since 1975, residential and commercial exterior painting services has been our primary focus. Restoration services ensure your home will weather the intense Florida heat and rain for years to come. Since 1975, Tropical Painting has been providing residential and commercial, interior and exterior painting and restoration services in Pinellas and Hillsborough County.
Painting the exterior is an important part of properly maintaining a home. Paint serves as a first line of defense against the elements by creating a barrier to the sun, wind, rain, insects and other destructive effects. Painting is also a simple and comparatively inexpensive means of dramatically changing or updating the look of a home and enhances the curb.
Before any work is begun, our staff will take every precaution to properly cover and protect personal belongings. To ensure your property is not damaged in any way, we move and pack all personal Items furnishings, equipment, appliances, etc., and cover and seal all floors, windows and doors. We will prepare the walls and surfaces to ensure that the paint adheres properly and will not only look great, but last.
Because of the nature of the climate here in Florida, we often encounter rotted wood, insect damage or other damage on a project. Rather than simply replacing it, which may not be practical, we are often able to simply excise the effected area and then fill it using structural adhesive putty and/or a wood replacement compound.
Please do not expect a bid without an on-site interview and inspection. Because it's simply not possible to accurately estimate a project without a thorough review, beware of companies that skip this crucial step. No reputable company bids a project without a thorough interview to determine your expectations and the actual scope of the work.

Tropical Painting is one of those rare companies that you encounter only a couple of times in your home owner lifetime. Paul and Laurie are really great people to do business with. The quality of their work is amazing and I have repeatedly had many people stop to comment on how great our home looked. I would definitely hire them in the future for more of my painting projects.

Paul and Laurie just completed painting my entire condominium on Snell Isle and I have nothing but praise for the work that they did. In the bidding process he mentioned that he could do touch ups on my trim with paint I already had a no cost and he did not require me to do a thing prior to doing the painting. They showed up when they said they would, painted all day and by the time they left the rooms they painted were put back exactly as before. Nothing was broken and no paint was spilled anywhere. I could go out and leave them here and my large, barking dog did not bother them! The place looks
