Acupuncturist, received her Master's Degree in Acupuncture at Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Laurel, MD, and has had a fulltime practice of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in Durham, NC since 1991. This practice includes support in the cultivation of meditation and Qi Gong and the Chinese Medicine approach to enjoying food as a source of healing.
She is on faculty at Daoist Traditions School of Chinese Medicine in Asheville, NC, since 2004. She was also faculty and active Board member of Global Medicine Education Foundation 2000-2008. She has given numerous lectures and seminars on Acupuncture, Integrative Medicine and Herbs at Duke University and UNC, through UNC and Duke's Centers for Integrative Medicine.

Services
Lori's training and focus of Chinese Medicine started with the Classical teachings of the Five Elements, brought to the West by J.R.Worsley. This primary orientation is towards integrating the body, mind and spirit into the healing experience. There is no separation of this healing in Chinese Medicine.
Full-time private practice as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist since 1991 in Durham, NC. This includes practicing Classical Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from onsite herbal pharmacy; extensive counseling on meditation/food/diet/ herbs/ lifestyle relevant to Chinese medicine; and offering the opportunity of inner transformation essential to a deeper healing experience.
