Services
Our Kid's Mixed Martial Arts Class serve Clarksburg, Damascus, Germantown, Gaithersburg area has been created for kids to have fun while learning respect, self-discipline, self-confidence, to help build mental and physical strength. Our kid's martial arts program in Montgomery County consists of mixed martial arts of TaeKwonDo, Judo, Jujitsu, Karate, Kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Our Clarksburg Damascus and Germantown Summer Camp will help your child build confidence, learn self defense and participate in field trips, games, crafts and other activities in a fun, safe and structured environment. Royal Tiger began as a traditional martial arts school, offering instruction in the various styles to children and adults in 2000.
Bullying is a world-wide problem and not just in our local area. As a community, we need to address this subject head on. The only problem is that most people have answers and some are great, but sometimes the people giving this advice have never been bullied and had that experience personally. Some people may think that Master Saykosy was never bullied.
Our Private Martial Arts lessons and personal training are for members if they are unable to have a set schedule for group lessons, simply feel more comfortable and learn better in a one-on-one setting, would like to review techniques that your having challenges with, or prepare for testing. Private martial arts lessons and personal training will provide you with exactly what you need to get in shape, gain confidence, and learn self defense.
Jiu Jitsu or Ju Jitsu, has become the most practiced art when it comes to ground fighting and ground defense. UFC has brought Jujitsu mainstream, around the world. Every MMA fighter, martial artist, law enforcement, and military personnel realizes how important it is to train in Jujitsu, therefore, it's the best grappling style in the world.

Joining the academy has been one of the best decisions I've made. I came here with minimal experience, but feel that I've learned so much in the past few weeks. Master Saykosy and Ms. Diandra do an amazing job at providing such a welcoming and friendly environment. I never feel pressured to do anything I'm uncomfortable with, and always feel supported in trying my best. Everyone I've met has been very kind as well and are always willing to help you improve. This place feels like another home for me!

So many lessons about running an academy were taught to me by Professor Eddie! He runs one of the best Academy’s I have ever stepped foot in. From the clean/safe environment, to the welcoming curriculum that is designed for everyone’s skill level, I have taken the lessons taught to me and created the same thing here on the East coast. I highly recommend this Academy to anyone looking to learn self defense.

This academy has taught me so much in only a few months. In here we are not just the training as students we are training as a family to make each other better. Ms.Dede is like a second mom to me she has taught me to love myself. Not only are you taught how to fight you are taught patience, control, dedication, etc. This is my second family❤️

Royal Tiger Academy is like my second home. I joined a little less than 2 years ago and they’ve taught me pretty much everything that I know today. Everyone there are wholesome and genuine people and my classmates are always striving to improve. Joining the academy has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in terms of improving my health, character, and confidence!

Even if you don't live in Damascus it's worth the drive...we drive 30-45 mins and it is more than worth it. Master Saykosi is very serious, even with the "Tiny Tigers." He does not treat it as a game or for fun. He teaches the children about the importance of self control, focusing your mind and body, and following directions. Not just following directions, but following directions precisely. He gives the children life skills that they can take home with them and into the classroom. Don't participate and follow directions and you will have to sit the class out, or have

I have my two kids coming to Royal Academy over a year and it was the best choice I ever made. They are learning so many techniques including Judo, Taekwondo, karate, jiu-jitsu and the most important, self-confidence, self-defense and how to respect and be kind to others. Master Saykosy is very well trained and patient with kids and adults, centered and he know what he is teaching. I have two brothers, a black belt in judo and another black belt in taekwondo so I can tell what is the real techniques in martial arts and not only other plces I tried before that they didn't learn much. I'm so glad I found this place for my kids! Master Kenji is a true martial art master who teaches real PRACTICAL self defense, not just for sports or recreational purposes. In addition, master Kenji and Diandra not only teach the kids martial art skills but also the principle and demeanor to be a better person, we absolutely love this place. Highly recommended if you are serious about self defense (just ask for weapons disarm demonstration, you'll be amazed!)

Master Saykosy is not only professional but has a vast knowledge in martial arts. He's patient and great in teaching both kids and adults. Coming here I truly understand what the meaning of being a mix martial artist is. I enjoy his teaching styles and fundamentals with my son. He's truly shown more confidence, discipline, focus, and respect after taking classes at Royal Tiger Academy. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn traditional and non traditional arts.

Royal Tiger MMA Academy is the first martial arts class that my daughter has attended. Master Kenji is a skilled teacher and my daughter appreciates his teaching techniques and the way they have been adapted for current, realistic, everyday situations. I 100% look forward to coming here every week. Master Kenji is so knowledgeable about every type of mixed martial artistry; it's amazing. Him and his partner Diandra are so welcoming and personable I have absolutely no anxiety walking into this academy.
The rates are also a ridiculously low for all the information Master Kenji has to offer. He used to compete, he choreographs stunts and directs for films, he knows how to fish??? (Bonus points) There's so much more he and Diandra know that I would love to be just their friend if I didn't attend their academy.

It had been years since I had trained in any form of Martial Arts. Over the years I just lost the passion for the art. It wasn't until Royal Tiger reached out to me and offered me a chance to rekindle my love for the sport, that I realized how much I miss martial arts training. The dynamic duo of Master Kenji and Dee Dee run an outstanding martial arts school. The classes are fun and informative. The staff and fellow students are an incredible group of individuals that create a welcoming environment that I find myself eager in anticipation for the next class.
