I typically photograph weddings on the beautiful East End of Long Island: The North Fork, The Hamptons, Shelter Island and Montauk. However, I also photograph weddings across the entire New York Tri-State area. I love what I do and it is my desire to artfully document your wedding day providing you with honest moments and gorgeous/natural portraits that you and your family will cherish for the rest of your lives.

My name is Lisa Nicolosi and I am a Long Island photographer focused on weddings, proposals, elopements, engagements and family portraits. I typically photograph weddings on the beautiful Eastern End of Long Island but I also work across the entire New York Tri-State area. And if you are planning a destination wedding or a wedding out of my state, I am available for worldwide travel!
The images in this engagement session gallery are from various areas in New York State, such as: Shelter Island, The Hamptons, Montauk, The North Fork, Ocean Beach, Suffolk County, Nassau County, Brooklyn, Queens and even Texas. Engagement and proposal sessions are shot outdoors on location - typically 2 hours before sunset.
Hi, I am Lisa Nicolosi, a Long Island proposal and wedding photographer and I love to document and help plan surprise marriage proposals. My goal is to capture the reactions and expressions that unfold during a surprise marriage proposal in a natural manner. These stages/props are dead giveaways to any intuitive proposee and thus their reaction of surprise is either greatly diminished or a mere performance.

(Our wedding was in June but - ) Lisa was AMAZING. Her assistant, Frank, was also awesome. They both made my husband and I feel very comfortable the whole day. We had some issues here and there with other vendors but Lisa was always on top of everything and always had my full confidence. She also helped us with our wedding day schedule. After we got our initial previews, we were SO excited and couldn't wait to see the final pictures!! It was so worth the wait!!! I can't say enough great things about Lisa, she was so thoughtful and nice and helpful! <3

Lisa was so amazing at our wedding! She truly is the best! She knew who we were and what we wanted right away. Lisa made everything so easy. From the beginning we knew we would have nothing to worry about on our special day. She was so wonderful with all of our guests and really felt like one of the family. Lisa photographed our proposal and did a fantastic job! She was very helpful in planning out the proposal (e.g., talking by phone, sending out maps, illustrations of where to stand, etc.), particularly since I didn't know the area as well. She had multiple contingencies based around the lighting, the crowds, and the weather. On the day that we were scheduled to shoot, it was pouring, and she was kind enough to reschedule to the following day (on a holiday weekend, no less!). She and her partner went out of their way to make the engagement a special one, and I'd highly recommend her without reservation

Lisa is amazing and I cannot recommend her enough! She is extremely professional, which can often be hard to find in a photographer. We used her for our North Fork winery wedding photos in September 2019, and we still hear from family and friends how much they love our wedding photos. Lisa made the most incredible night of our lives even more special through her beautiful photography.
