Learning N Caring Academy is a Montessori and play-based preschool in Carson, CA and the surrounding areas. We believe that child development comes from self-directed activities, hands-on education, and collaborative play. Children can make creative choices that will strengthen their social skills, teaching them respect for one another and the power in beneficial negotiation.
We offer age-appropriate activities and our philosophy helps children with independence and self-discipline. We promote the development of social skills, fine motor, gross motor, emotional growth, physical coordination, and cognitive progression. Academic play is incorporated for children to learn effective problem-solving as they reflect positively about themselves, others and the environment around them!

Services
At Learning N Caring Academy, we provide part-time and full-time child care services for ages 6 months to 6 years old. Our curriculum is Montessori and play-based, and our schedule consists of everything from music and movement to reading and yoga. All of our teachers have years of experience working with young children and they have received their First Aid/CPR certification.

My daughter is Pre K aged and loves attending Learning N Caring Academy. Her second week in attendance felt like she had been there for months. Mrs. Gonzales provides a safe, fun, nurturing and educational environment. I really appreciate and enjoy her updates on nutrition, curriculum as well as my child's weekly highlights. I'm fortunate to have found quality, trustworthy childcare and definitely recommend Learning N Caring Academy.

Mrs G is AMAZING. We love her. Our daughter is currently here for preschool. Our second daughter will be starting here as well for prep into preschool, and then preschool prior to starting kindergarten. She explains everything they do, she shows progress and work that has been done in classes. She sends home things for us to keep. The schedule is great for our daughter and helps to get her on a routine. The meals are great as well. They have balanced meals, snacks, play time, as well as learning times and activities.
