David and his team did an exceptional job and squeezed us in for a last minute floor project right before the holidays. The worked tirelessly to get it done ahead of schedule, pulling up carpet upstairs and installing new hardwood that looks amazing. They finished that off with new carpet on the stairs and turned that around in record time. David is a great business owner, checking in often and has a great team of hard workers. We would definitely recommend them for any flooring project and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Mr. Hernandez and his entire team completely surpassed my expectations. I recently purchased my first home, the hardwood was in a SAD state. I reached out to three different floor refinishing businesses and Mr. Hernandez followed up with me by email and text very quickly. I never heard back from any of the other businesses.
He came to my home and gave me an estimate. He explained each cost and talked me through all the different options and what would best suit my home. The work was promptly scheduled, the work crew was never late, always polite, and the work was completed exactly as expected

David refinished the floors in a home we recently bought in Davis, and I can't get over how beautiful they look! I contacted several flooring companies and he is the only one that let me upgrade to a high-traffic water-based sealant, which I wanted in order to protect the floors against my dog. David and his crew were very professional, and finished the work in about 3 days. The cost was on par with quotes I got from other companies, and so far is worth every penny.

Courteous, good communication, clean, efficient, good craftsmanship, fairly priced and we loved the results. They came back for a little detailing I wanted done in a timely manner.
They had to remove some big areas that had big black spots from the previous owners pets, eww! They removed the permanently stained oak, refinished the existing oak floors, added matching oak over original subfloors in two bedrooms and put in matching solid oak over a difficult room that had a floating fake wood floor. It all turned out beautiful.

We researched wood floors installers and DC seemed like a good option. Looks like they do nice work and lots of good reviews on Yelp. Trouble is they don't seem very professional. I called the number provided on the website and someone answered "hello" and I'm like "is this DC Floors?" and he's like "yes but I'm in a meeting and would have to call you back." So my wife writes an email to David and a day and a half later no response. She also sent a message through their website contact form and left her phone number. No call back.

DC Floors recently refinished red oak kitchen flooring and two bedrooms of red fir in our 95 year old home. Kitchen floors had not been refinished in 22 years and bedroom floors hadn't been touched in over 50 years (as they were under carpet and linoleum.)
David and his crew were thorough in their preparation, meticulous in their application of stain and sealant, and cut no corners in executing these two projects. We hired David last summer to install and finish white oak on our second story and we couldn't be happier with the results. My girlfriend and I recently hired DC Floors to refinish around 1000 sq/ft of hardwood floors and replace around 200 sq/ft of tile. We were extremely satisfied with the experience and would recommend David and his team to anyone looking for floor work. David was timely and accurate with his estimate, communicated well throughout the project, started and finished well ahead of schedule, and produced beautiful results. David is a pro. I hired DC Floors to put down new flooring in my 100 year old house. I'll admit, I know nothing about anything. So, I got a couple bids and asked about what I should do. Only David took the time to educate me about my options. Only David brought samples. Only David talked about how to best fit the new floor to the house.
