AirOn PT was born to outreach and better serve our emerging immigrant community with outstanding Physical Therapy and Acupuncture. Our goal is to provide the highest quality rehabilitation therapy and promote the wellness of the Newark community.
Physical therapy involves the interaction between physical therapist, patients/clients, other health care professionals, families, caregivers, and communities in a process where movement potential is assessed and diagnosed and goals are agreed upon.

Physical therapy is performed by a physical therapist PT, PTs are healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the very oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions, illnesses, or injuries that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities as well as they would like in their daily lives.
Myofascial strategies include is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. We incorporate a several different myofascial techniques in our practice. Amino Neuro Frequency is a form of lymphatic assessment and treatment.
Graston technique is a form of manual therapy known as soft-tissue instrument-assisted mobilization. This therapy is designed to help the practitioner locate areas of restriction and attempt to break up scar tissue. There are 6 primary tools used in Graston Technique. These tools are made of stainless steel and are used to pull over the skin in order to detect areas of injury and provide needed treatment.
The lymphatic system can not be separated from orthopedic dysfunction. It is for this reason, we have incorporated a lymphatic assessment in our protocol. We perform a 5 minute lymphatic "hack"; a quick and easy release of the primary lymphatic areas by hand. In addition, we include palpation of the abdominal area to check for blockage as taught by Dr. Perry Nickelston.
