After 20 years working in the fitness industry and coaching scholastic athletes, Shawn founded Tampa Strength. Our South Tampa's Fitness facility's focus is to help people achieve their training goals through a fun, unique and extremely effective training system.

Golf Fitness Training directed by Elite Titleist Performance Institute Certified Professionals. Certified Professionals by Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), our elite golf fitness program focuses on the body/swing connection. Institute's physical screening process, we isolate any physical limitations and correlate those findings to your swing, then prescribe a custom conditioning program.

I have been working out with Nick for over 2 years now and loving it! He really listens to his clients to develop creative and effective methods to reach their goals. I have noticed a huge change in my body since I have been going to Tampa Strength and it is all thanks to Nick! This is the first workout regimen in my life I have been able to stick to consistently and that is because of the variety, enjoyability, and noticeable results.

I cannot say enough about Coach Nick and Tampa Strength! My son started training there at 15 because he really wanted to improve his golf game, and it was totally worth the drive for me to take him out there once or twice a week. He would then work out at the gym in our neighborhood the other 3 times a week. His golf game and confidence went through the roof and he qualified for state as an individual his sophomore year! He worked out with coach Nick, who gave him such a valuable knowledge of what to focus on and how to achieve the results he wanted. He now works out every day except Sunday, and

Shawn Balow is an attentive, motivating PT who curates every workout to suit his clients' needs. Growing up, I often struggled with stability and was often suffering from one injury or another. Under Balow's training I was able to perfect my form, get stronger and perform at a much higher level. He is also a fun and engaging guy to be around. Could not recommend him enough!

My son has been working with Nick for about a year. Nick tailors every workout for his needs. The personal attention is excellent. I love that each exercise is planned with an end result in mind and Nick is very careful about correct form so that the workout is effective and not injury provoking. The changes in my son over the year have been noticeable. I highly recommend Nick.

Coach Balow is excellent! If you're looking to improve strength, flexibility and mobility, Shawn is the trainer for you. He explains each movement thoroughly and always stays positive. I always feel like I've accomplished so much in an hour and the workouts are consistently challenging. Highly recommended!!

I am 56 years old and play golf fairly competitively. Been training with Ryan the past 2 months and the increase in flexibility and power in my swing is outstanding. His attention to detail and form with training has kept me injury free which I can't seem to accomplish on my own. I highly recommend Tampa Strength and Ryan in particular.

I've been training with Shawn for about a year now, and have learned and accomplished so much through his workouts! I love the combination of strength and conditioning through each workout. It's definitely great to experience a workout that is not fully dependent on machines,
