Prairie Pointe Apartments is the on-campus student housing community for Black Hawk East College. Prairie Pointe, or PPA as the residents call it, offers fully furnished units, all utilities included in one price. PPA offers both 2 and 4 person units with a living space and kitchen. Unlike other apartments, we offer individual leases, a roommate matching program and academic year leasing.

Yes, after your PPA lease is signed and approved, you will need to present it at the Kewanee Public Library and ask for a library card. After receiving your card, take it to the college admissions desk, on campus, and let them know you're eligible for an in-district rate.
Yes, if you have a refund of financial aid monies to be disbursed to you, you may sign it over each semester to PPA to cover Fall Semester payments (September-December) and Spring Semester payments (February-May).

The application and lease signing process is very simple. Once your application is completed then our management team will proceed with sending you a lease. Once the lease is completed and your signing fee is paid, then our community management team will proceed with the background check. Finally, after the background check is completed a resident will have to provide their financial qualifications to our community management team.
