The following is an excerpt from my biography in the AAMA "2016 Who's Who in the Martial Arts". At age 15 I was smaller than many of my peers. My nickname was "Shrimp". I didn't like idea of the older neighborhood kids pushing me around. I saw my friend, Keith, at school during gym class doing some movements I didn't recognize.
