JMP balances child initiated, teacher directed, and developmentally appropriate educational activities. One of our goals is to instill in our preschoolers, a lifelong love for learning. Teachers help each child discover a fascinating world of learning and play. We are proud to say that we've served the Parker community since 1979.
Services
Joyful Mission Preschool was founded in 1979 and serves children between the ages of 2 to 5. Our first priority is to build a warm, supportive classroom community in which each child is a valued member. Being that we are the longest running Preschool in Parker, we have perfected the balance of learning and play!
We are often reminded how long we have been in business when 2nd, 3rd and 4th generations of families continue to enroll children or become part of our educational team. We couldn't ask for a more heartwarming career. Passionate, dedicated, and loving, Joyful Mission Preschool teachers love their work and it shows in everything they do.
We love it here! I saw the drop off/pick up times are different next year and I think that will help foster more parent/teacher communication and set JMP apart from other schools. I love ALL the staff here and it's one of the biggest reasons we chose JMP. All are sincere, caring, and you can tell they enjoy their jobs, coworkers, and children.
At this age, school readiness becomes a priority. In Junior Kindergarten Children learn pre-reading and writing skills and recognize the sounds that letters make. A lot of attention is placed on basic math concepts including simple addition and subtraction in an age appropriate practice. Our curriculum gives children a variety of experiences in making choices, problem solving, role playing, and exploration.
Children will go to the designated classroom for before care and then will be walked over to their class before it starts. Kids staying for enrichment will have an afternoon filled with fun, learning, and a short rest/quiet time. Please provide a lunch as well as an afternoon snack. Kids are welcome to have a small blanket and/or lovie to cuddle with during quiet time.

My toddler loves this place, her friends, class and teacher. My daughter really struggled with drop off in her devious program- she practically bolts to classroom in excitement now. The staff go above and beyond. The teacher (Ms. Jenny) is full of creative fun and educational crafts and activities to keep kids engaged. She really tries to encourage independence with the kids. I LOVE that she has a strict hand washing policy in the class while the kids are there. My daughter was constantly sick and her previous program and she has never brought home a bug from joyful which is amazing.

Excellent is not a strong enough word to describe this school. My oldest entered Joyful Mission as a shy kid. after a few months I noticed that his confidence level was rising. By the time he left the school the year before entering Kindergarten, he was confident, and he could read, and he was more than ready to enter Kindergarten. He had no problems making friends at his elementary school thanks to the skills and confidence that he got from here. My Daughter has two more years in preschool before entering Kindergarten. She can now start to recognize her own name, knows her colors and numbers and
