Services
Joshua Early Childhood Center is. A child-focused, individualized learning experience serving children between the ages of 2.5-years through 6-years old. We are an all-inclusive setting that meets the needs of all children, including those with special needs.
Our center houses Joshua Academy, a curriculum-based early childhood preschool experience for children of all abilities; and Joshua Early Intervention, an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) treatment program.This collaboration creates an experience with emphasis on acceptance, understanding and helping that truly builds character for life.

In 2002, six educators were teaching in a public school district when their beloved student, Joshua, unexpectedly passed away. After years of frustration over the constraints of traditional education, these six teachers vowed to use this tragedy for good and founded The Joshua School. The vision was simple.if a child had one day left on this earth it had to be the most meaningful and magical day of their lives.

Joshua Academy (JA) is a curriculum based early childhood learning experience for all children.
Joshua Academy is a childhood learning experience for children 2.5-years through 5-years that values their unique interests, talents and dreams. Passionate and educated staff. You will find our staff to be highly knowledgeable, engaged and loving. Our lead teachers have or are in masters degree programs, and all teachers receive ongoing professional development and training throughout the school year.
In Twilight Peak, we provide a safe and nurturing environment to help our two and three year olds learn and grow. We begin the year helping children become accustomed to the new experience of preschool and work to ensure that each child has a positive first school experience. At this age, we spend a lot of time on social and emotional development.

We decided to move our kids to this school last fall and couldn't be happier! We can't believe how much they've learned and accomplished in just the last 4 months and they are so happy and excited to go to school everyday. The staff is hands down the most kind and genuinely compassionate group of people we've ever met. Moving our kids this school is the best decision we've ever made. Highly recommend!!!

The Joshua Early Childhood Center has been amazing for our family. The staff is so caring and sweet. I truly feel like they are an extension of our family as they show our family and kids so much love. Joshua Academy has been amazing. Our youngest loves to go to school every day and can't wait to go back. She did not even have a hard time transitioning into the preschool program as the staff helped make her feel so comfortable.
The Joshua Early Childhood Center is also a remarkable place for any child with developmental delays. The Early Intervention program has given our son the one on one attention

The staff at Joshua Academy are amazing! Since my first inquiry, everyone has been courteous, attentive, and professional. Most importantly, my son has been treated with the utmost care and attention - emotionally, socially, and academically. We transitioned to this school from a daycare facility and have been welcomed in with open arms. I can't say enough positive things, we are always greeted with a smile and I can tell the teachers love the kids and feel valued. Keep up the wonderful work you are doing and we feel very fortunate to be part of your family!

As a parent you constantly search for people that you can trust your children to. Feel assured that the teachers and administrators at Joshua are knowledgeable and will strive to ensure that each child is getting the highest quality education and care. The unique style that Joshua employs creates a successful environment for children to take steps forward, both large and small. My husband's job recently brought us from Connecticut to Colorado. It was a huge move for my young family and my biggest worry was preschool for my 3 yr old daughter. We were moving her in the middle of the year and wanted the transition to be as perfect as possible. We feel so lucky to have found the Joshua Academy for my daughter. With the teacher to student ratio being so amazing, my daughter got the attention she needed to transition into her new school. The staff at JECC is an amazing group of people who are smart, passionate and care deeply about the kids. I have two boys who go to school there and they love going to school each day and come home excited about what they are learning. It is a place where they feel safe and confident and have made great strides socially and academically. I would highly recommend Joshua Early Childhood Center to others.

My son attended Joshua for more than four years and I cannot imagine what our lives would be like if we had not found this amazing place. His progress was a testament to the powerful combination of his strong will and a staff that knows how to turn that into a life-changing asset. Each and every staff member is "all-in" creating a culture you will not find anywhere else a building bonds that will last a lifetime. We are so fortunate to have this treasure in our own backyard.

Our family relocated to Colorado, in order for our five-year-old son to attend The Joshua School's Early Intervention Program. He loves going to school each day and his progress, in the four months he has been attending, has been invaluable for both him and our family. I cannot say enough about the staff! It's truly amazing to see how much they care for not only our child, but our entire family. The staff at JECC is phenomenal! They truly care about students of ALL abilities and backgrounds. They are constantly working to making connections with students and families to ensure that all children are successful.
