This was the best jjampong broth I've had in a long time. It was the right amount of spicy, taste of the flame and savory was well balanced. It was very satisfying.
Their shrimp kkanpong and their tangsuyuk were awesome too.
The food came out pretty fast too and service was prompt. I'm book marking this place to visit again.

Best go-to spot.

Fried dumpling for appetizers, great price and great taste.

Their black bean sauce with noodle, is great, especially for its price.

Seafood with noodles, great. I always get it here.

This place has been open for a long time.

Price for 2, roughly 25-40 dollars.

Very good Chinese Korean restaurant. Very good price, fast and nice service. The owner and workers are working very hard. Always same quality which is very different to do but they do this.

The food is over cooked. I orders fried rice and it was crunchy and hard. They forgot one of my meals and drink and the guy said that he doesn’t care and to call the restaurant. I am disappointed because the food ended up costing 40 dollars. Over priced and service was unpleasant.

Really solid spot for korean-chinese food. i'm not a huge JJM lover, but actually i really enjoyed it here. the noodles were quite chewy and delicious. ordered the sautéed version (gan JJM) and the sauce came separate from the noodles (not sure if they do that for all JJMs). there was a fried sunny side up on the noodles as well, which i haven't seen elsewhere, but it was nice! i broke the yoke into the noodles with sauce and it gave it some more richness. portion is pretty good too.

we also got the chives dish (boo choo jap chae) with steamed rolls (kkot bbang) and sweet and sour

I ordered the food, the food was good and other employees were nice. When I got the check, I gave the card and the old woman said the card minimum is $15. In that restaurant, there is no said about minimum $15. So ridiculous.

Yuringi is 80% fried batter and 20% chicken. Looks like big portion but when you life it it is super light weight and when you eat it you barely see or taste chicken. Also the jjajangmyun was so salty we couldn't even eat it.

Well…I went to eat after seeing the reviews but I was disappointed.
Jjamppong is too salty and Tang su yuk has a strong oily smell.
At least the jjajang is bland and the texture of “noodles” is good.
Just like the price increase notice posted at the entrance, I hope you pay a little more attention to taste.

Came here after hiking at Palisades Interstate Park, which was about a 20-minute drive away. There is a parking lot right next to this establishment at a quiet and tiny strip mall. Upon entering the restaurant, my group waited about five minutes or so to be seated. We were given paper table placemats with the menu printed on them. We thought that was it for the menu, but we were later given menu books with pictures, which helped us finalized our choices.

We saw a lot of people getting the jajangmyeon (noodles with black soybean sauce) and were very tempted, so two people in my group got number

You will leave this place with your stomachs filled and wallets happy.

There is free outdoor parking and it is located by H-Mart and Mochinut. So you can come here to get some groceries, eat, and have dessert.

The staff greeted us and instructed us to sit down all in Korean, but we can take the hint. The tables were set up with the paper menu but I think it was to put your meal on top. They gave us the bigger plastic menus afterward. The utensils are covered- even the METAL spoon (which is super hygienic and cute).

When we ordered, we just pointed to what we wanted to make things easier.

I think I found my new fav Korean Chinese restaurant. I wanted to try a new place after my last experience with (won’t name other) was too sweet in noodle dishes.
This place was great. Food was delicious and portion was generous as well.
I asked them not to cook the noodles but they still cooked it, only negative point there!
Kanpoonggi was crispy and not overtly sweet. Tang soo yook was nice and chewy (in a good way) with delicious sauce.

The place is really good and has affordable prices. I've gotten it multiple times and the food is always good. You can also do combos (half & half) between different dishes too which is great.

FOOD:
-- has one of the best jiajiamyuns (black bean noodles) in the area
-- FAVORITES: kkanpungsaeu - honestly so good. definitely recommend

Food: 4/5
Let me start off by saying.. hehehehe :)

Im so happy I found this place! Their prices are very affordable and the food does not disappoint. I love being able to have the "half/half" option as not all places will offer it. The food here seemed "clean"'as in it didn't leave me parched or chugging water. Their lunch menu is great and I will definitely be coming back to dine here.

Service: 4/5
The lady and guy working here are very nice and accommodating. Thank you!

Ambiance: 2/5
This place is slightly grotesque. The table was a bit dirty and the establishment

This place is always hit or a slight miss for me

We live right near by so I run down for some JJM & Tangsooyook.

My hubby always gets the shrimp friend rice & today I was feeling like JJM & shared a "small" tangsooyook. Their small can feed like 3-4 people as an appetizer or they just always hook it up. Lol.

Their tangsooyook was on point todayy!! Super flakey crispy & not overly greasy.

Their jjm is always a hit or miss for me. Probably bc they use kabocha squash as their sweetener.. maybe they had some off season squash but it wasn't sweet at all :(

This place is really affordable and the food is good too. I got the combo of half spicy deep fried chicken and half jiajiamyun. The chicken wasn't that spicy but was sweet, savory and crispy. I recommend getting the sauce on the side since it can get a little sweet. It costs $11 and was a very good portion size.

The fried dumplings were yummy too - they came out piping hot, super crispy and juicy. I liked the sauce they made - added my own vinegar from the table and chili flakes. This was $8 for 10 pieces.

Lastly my mom got half jiajiamyun half spicy seafood soup. It came with noodles

The lunch special prices are very lenient. If you need a quick jjajangmyun or jjampong fix, this can be a solution for you. However, I don't think the noodles are better than the other local competitors. I know the noodles aren't handmade or hand tossed. The jjampong soup is delicious and they add lots of seafood but the noodles just didn't do it for me. Their tangsooyook is crispy and good, ask for sauce on the side.

If you're Korean you will know the struggle when you go to eat black bean noodles you always want jjampong (spicy seafood noodles soup) as well. This place will solve the issue for you. You can get one of the many combo options that allow you to get a little bit of both.

Gyeonghoeru is well known for their noodle dishes. Noodles soup, stirred fried, or mixed in with sauce, they have it all. I highly recommend trying out their jjampong/black bean noodle (Pic #1). If you want a meat option try their deep fried pork/jjampong combo (Pic#2). For all my mushroom lovers, their jap chae (Pic#3

Recently picked up a platter of Yang Jang Pi on a grocery run to H-Mart Fresh next door and it reaffirmed my love for this gem of Koreanized Chinese spot!

[PSA: Local restaurants really need our help, Yelpers! Support gems like these by ordering out more since we're cooking most of the time during COVID. Ok, I'm done please read on. :) ]

For the uninitiated, Yang Jang Pi is sort of a deluxe stir-fried veggies with some seafood & meat with clear flat rice noodle (like transparent chow fun) tossed in brain freezing but delectable spicy mustard sauce. (Don't worry, you can control

A set menu No. 40 which includes :
Fried pork w/ sweet & sour sauce
Black soybean noodle
Noodle w/ spicy seafood soup
($27.99)

Very disappointed with black bean noodle which is a typical dish every Korean will order. Noodle was too cooked (as if boiled more than twice) and sauce was very bland and watery. (We already knew this since it has always been so. Not even hit or miss.)!

We actually always like the noodle with spicy seafood soup from GyeongHeeRu. The soup base is neither too spicy nor salty. Just right for our preference !!!! Also, the seafood is very fresh.

Fried pork with sweet

Gyeonghoeru is my favorite Korean style Chinese restaurant in Fort Lee. The prices are very reasonable and the food is solid!

It's definitely a go-to for a jajangmyun fix or for mid-sized groups for their set menu.

Very delicious jajangmyeon. Not too greasy or salty. Slightly different and lighter than some other shops. The way they made it was probably my favorite in New Jersey and New York.

The seasonal special jamppong for 2 was pretty good and monstrous in size for a good price (24.95) with a lot of seafood inside. Not quite as spicy as I would have liked, however. Overall I've probably had better jamppong, but it's not bad here and they definitely didn't skimp on the seafood, which was not bad tasting.

For 42 dollars including tax and tip I fed 3 people and had a lot of leftover seafood

Recommend this place. Good atmosphere. These are my 2 favorite dishes. The chicken is almost like sweet and spicy chicken. The other dish is spicy pork. I always look forward to eating here. It's quite a treat and you'll enjoy if you like spicy food. Of course, there's also non spicy food like beef stir fry and noodles with black bean sauce.

I love this restaurant the lunch specials are so large, cheap, fast and delicious! You get a very large portion of soup or noodles for $10. You can even do half a bowl of 2 different kinds in a large split bowl and it's enough for 2 people to share. Also BYOB so that's great! Only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is that there aren't really any side dishes and it does tend to get crowded and not many servers. But for the price it's worth it and I go often.

We are regulars here that visit about twice a month. The 9 of us got here around 5 and go got seated with a short wait time. Promptly after ordering our food, one third of our orders were served. For the next hour, we did not get rest of our orders. Upon our inquiry, the servers told us that our "foods were all ready", but weren't served for another 10 min or so. They let us cancel the rest of the orders, and so we left. Some of my friends were disappointed.
