Also known as "laughing gas". Nitrous oxide (N2O) is simply a gas which you can breathe in. It has no color, smell, and doesn't irritate. Nitrous oxide works very rapidly and the recovery time is very fast. Inhalation sedation is very safe. It has very few side effects and the drugs used have no ill effects on the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, or brain.
Insurance & PaymentIn order to better serve our McDonough neighborhood, we have become preferred providers for the following major insurance companies. We collect your insurance information, outline your coverage, and file all the necessary paperwork for you. We also accept and file most other insurance plans not listed above.
You can pay for your office visits and any treatments by cash, cheque, credit or debit card at the time of treatment. We also accept most major dental insurance plans. To discuss your payment options or insurance coverage, please call 931-250-4329. For your convenience, we are pleased to accept patient financing through CareCredit and Citi Health.

Great experience! The whole team, from the front desk to the hygienists, to Doctor Rana, were incredibly accommodating and I felt very safe and taken care of. They were very transparent and explained everything they were doing! Not often you say this about a dentist, but I look forward to my next visit!

Wow! Just wow! Dr. Rana is such a blessing... I visited him today for the first time as an urgent 'worked-in' appointment. I had terrible pain on my #1 top molar that had a crown placed 5 years ago at another DDS in FL. It always was a bit uncomfortable if I clamped down on something, but not painful to the point where I had it looked at.
About a month ago, that discomfort became painful, and a week ago, kept me from chewing on that side, and by last night, kept me from sleeping. So, I called MDC this morning, and by noon, I was already home!

Dr. Rana and his staff are absolutely the best. I had a major abscess that he drained and then extracted my teeth. Very pleased with the level of professionalism and care I have received today. Called to several places around the area and Cumberland Dentistry had the best rates. Took over a month from the time I called to my actual first visit due to them being booked out. Now having gone I understand why they are busy - they're great! Was very happy they offered a family insurance plan at a reasonable price. Hadn't been to a dentist in 7 years and was nervous on my first visit. Every staff member I encountered including Dr. Rana were extremely kind and made me feel at ease.
