It's where patients from Fairfield Glade and Lake Tansi come for compassionate dentistry in Crossville. It's home to Dr. Donald Hooie and his team, where new patients and families of all ages are welcome with open arms and an open mind. Shalena was raised in Graham, TX, before later relocating to the Crossville area. She graduated from North Central Texas College with honors and is an LPN. Shalena is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She has advanced training in N20 monitoring, ACLS certification, and is also cross-trained as an orthodontic assistant.
During your initial call to the office, we may share some of the same information you see here. Also, we will ask you some preliminary questions about your health as a pre-screening precaution. In addition to this, when you arrive at the office, we conduct the same health screening to ensure you're feeling healthy on your appointment day.

My elderly mother was a patient of Dr. Hooie's. Due to some physical disabilities, she occasionally needs help from family members when attending Dr's appts and with understanding the billing. She recently had approximately $5300 worth of dental treatment done. Once all the insurance claims were paid, it was found that there was a small overpayment, giving her a credit of $56 on her account. My sister and I each called the office one time, very politely requesting a refund of the overpayment. The office manager, who also happens to be the Dr's wife, became very upset at the request

Dr. Hooie's was a very nice and clean office. Assistant, Mary Anne the hygienist and Doctor Hooie take the time to explain everything their going to do and then explain their findings and options to proceed on the best solutions to repair your teeth, gums, bone and Ph of your mouth. I spent over 2 hours in a chair on the first visit, thinking it would only be a consultation and to meet the staff. I highly recommend this office as your dentist of choice.

Donald Hooie is not only a fantastic dentist but actively supports his community and constantly provides additional professional education for his staff. I offer as proof of his excellence in dentistry, the following story. I had been his patient since finding his practice during the Christmas holidays of 2008. It seems my previous dentist had taken a vacation and didn't even bother to post an answering service or other direction in an emergency. A tooth had was infected and causing pain. Dr. Hooie, assisted by his wife, came in, on a Saturday, and treated me. In itself, that was unexpected
