It was in August of 2004 that our daughter, Merrian Carver. went missing from her home in Cambridge. Since we lived in Arizona, in order to determine what happened, it was necessary for us to take action to gain legal authority to move forward since she was 40 years old and was an adult. David and Carolyn came gave a presentation at our symposium on SSADH. We had never met them before and contacted their office to ask if they would speak about setting up special needs trusts and guardianship. The children who have SSADH need life long support. So without ever meeting us they came and presented. They spent time with the families explaining options and offered to follow up with families who had additional questions. They truly care about the work they do.

A number of years ago an aunt became quite ill - having no idea what to do the hospital directed my cousin and I to Blake & Associates - David Blake
helped us thru her illness and care - after her death we had to deal with her estate with no will and ugly relatives.....David was a godsend fighting thru the endless paperwork.....and dealing with all the details that we never would have even thought of - it took several years to finalize and Blake & Associates never left our side during all of it.....

Blake & Associates provided probate legal guidance to me while being Administrator of an Estate in Newton, MA. This was a first for me, being located out of state and not knowledgeable in Massachusetts probate procedures became challenging to keep up. Blake & Associate's, in particular Ms. Carolyn Martello Spaulding, was the guiding light that made this probate end in success and in a timely closing.
