Still five stars!!! The pierogi were wonderful, the roasted beets salad was lovely and although I don't know what the dressing was, it was good too. I was sooooooo disappointed they had no beet soup as that was the main reason we went ... that and the Groupon! Both daughters had the kielbasa Reuben and loved it!

Had a great evening at the lovely Baltic Restaurant in Berlin! We ( group of 6) went right after the holiday season so there were still a few decorations up in the hallway as well as in the restaurant, giving a homey yet sophisticated vibe. As soon as you walked in, you were also greeted by the delicious smells coming from the kitchen as well as a friendly waitress. The menu consists of classic Polish dishes, from golabki to potato pancakes and pierogi's. The food can also only be described as extremely delicious. There are many levels of flavor in each dish which also warm your soul with

Omg how I love Polish food! I grew up eating my grandma's homemade potato & farmers cheese pierogis and the ones here are as close to hers I have found. I get the kielbasa, side of potato pancake and appetizer of pierogis. I've never been disappointed. If you like Polish food be sure to check them out!

This was the best meal I've ever had. I thought nothing could top the Schwenkbraten I had in Schwangau, Bavaria, Germany. The Golanka braised pork is better. It really is. The potato pancakes are phenomenal. The whiskey sours with the egg whip are out of this world. Our server/bartender Dani B was one of the most professional, sharp and attentive servers I've seen. This place is my new favorite restaurant, unequivocally.

I’ve been going to Baltic Restaurant for many years and every time the food is very good (both dine-in and take-out). All dishes are tasty but my favorite are potato & farmer cheese (ruskie) pierogi and sauerkraut & mushroom pierogi - not only delicious but also the ratio of filling to the dough is very good (compering to other places). Definitely recommend 👍🏻😁

Our first visit to this restaurant, a recommendation from a friend. EXCELLENT choice! I started out with a Vodka martini and my wife had a glass of red wine. Both were marvelous. We both had some wonderful salads. Black Truffle Burrata Salad, Mixed Greens/Shaved Asparagus/Golden Beets/Pistachios/Lemon Thyme Vinaigrette and Mixed Green Salad, Mixed Greens/Strawberries/Goat Cheese/Almonds/Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette
An Appetizer of mushroom soup which was one of the best soups I ever had. A great choice!
We also had potato pancakes which wife said where to die for and the pierogi, potato and cheese

Ever hear of Borscht? Ever have it?
It's a fire engine red soup made from beets and is pretty popular in Eastern European countries. Immigrants from those countries brought it over to America. Growing up, I remember my Romanian born grandparents and my NYC born father used to enjoy it. I thought it looked disgusting and stayed away.
Well, I had some today, except I ordered it by its Polish name "Barszcz", and I have to tell you, it was delicious.
Barszcz was one of the dishes we sampled at today's excellent lunch at the Baltic Restaurant, located more or less on the border

My thoughts after the Gdansk special :
- stuffed Cabbage the best A+
- kielbasa and sauerkraut delicious strong A
- potato pancakes crispy and flavorful but too heavy and too much. Keep the crispy flavor lose the rest. B
- pierogis a bit disappointing for a polish spot I thought a bit dense and heavy with not enough flavor C
- service a bit thin and uneven C
- like the European vibe and inside ambiance B
On balance a 3.5 but depending on what you order can be better. Might be back to check the pork shank or other meat dishes.

Horrible experience. It took at least 20 mins for the bartender to show up after 7 of us were waiting at the bar. After she did come she had no idea how to make the most simple drinks. Asking us "how do i make that??".
Also that huge restaurant with only 4 bar stools?? It was the weirdest spot ever. The food might be good but the service definitely sucks!!! Never again.

Was in Berlin for an event and saw the good reviews so I decided to try it. Service was 5 stars but the food was just ok. Some things were better than others. We both ordered a combo plate for $19.00 each. Here's what we had.
4 Pierogis - was disappointed. They were fried and I prefer boiled and they didn't say on menu how they would be served so I should have asked. The dough was on the thick side and they didn't have a lot of taste. For a polish place they should have better than what they were.
2 Potato pancakes- very good and huge. One was plenty but they give you 2 and they

One of my boyfriend and I's favorite restraunts for a nice meal. The food is absolutely amazing, the wait staff are very pleasant and attentive, and the atmosphere is very nice. We always get the pierogi platter for an appetizer. It is just divine! For our meals I love the salmon. My boyfriend loves the penne al vodka and the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. You just can't go wrong with the food here. The last time we went we also got dessert which was simply delectable. We had the chocolate moose cheesecake which had a hazelnut fudge center. It was one of the best desserts I've

I liked the environment. They have a huge chandelier in the foyer, a large banquet room across from the dining room. Dark hardwood floors with some furnishing that remind me of something I'd see in my grand parents house. A lot of tasteful art on the walls. This is going to be good, right?
The food? For me, I was not a fan. Given my self imposed dietary restrictions, ( pescetarian ) I expect to have limited choices when going to certain restaurants, and that is fine. I am a huge fan of cheese perogies, so I ordered the "Warshaw". I was so disappointed! Everything was

This place was amazing ! My husband and I came here on the recommendation of a client - we shared the pierogi appetizer which included meat, cheese, potato & cheese, and sauerkraut & mushroom - they were slightly crispy, not greasy at all, perfectly done, Served with sour cream and apple sauce - then we had the kielbasa and sauerkraut served with the best potato pancake ever, once again crispy without being greasy - we finished with the crepes, one filled with jam and the other with farmers cheese - amazing ! the staff was absolutely lovely and the place itself is beautiful, welcoming,

We once again had lunch at the Baltic on a Friday afternoon. I asked the host for the luncheon menus as we were being seated, but were once again provided dinner menus. We told him the menus were for dinner and he responded that he was new and asked what the other menus looked like.
Fortunately, our server was very experienced and provided excellent service throughout our meal. In addition to sliced, slightly stale bread, we were provided ice cold butter and 5 slices of some type of sausage. The soup of the day was again white borscht, that's good, which included 1/2 of a hard boiled egg
