Owner Michael Wood has built Woodbuilt Construction based on the same values he and his wife Amy use while raising their three sons. Owner Michael Wood grew up the oldest son of a carpenter.
At the young age of six he started tagging along with his father to job sites. As Michael grew, a strong work ethic and good reasoning skills were planted deeply into him by his father. Whenever a problem arose his father would ask Michael how he would he resolve the issue, not that his father would take Michael's advice but he was teaching Michael the art of problem solving in real life lessons.

Woodbuilt holds a class A building license in Virginia for both residential and commercial building. Which means we are unlimited by size and cost of any project. As a side note all lending institutions require your contractor to hold a class A license. Woodbuilt is covered by a general liability insurance and all employees are covered with workers comprehension insurance.
