First experience with accupuncture, rushed through---dismissed from their clinic after 3 visits!!!
I liked this clinic, I really did. But they fired me after 3 treatments. In a certified letter! Couldn't even have the DECENCY to call or email me. No, because they didn't want me to ask any questions, I did nothing wrong.
Their reason for letting me go was
"it wasn't a good fit". Real reason, the therapist Joy, didn't want needy patients, it throws off her juggling of multiple patients at once. She needs to slow down.

I am extremely happy I found this place for my perimenopause symptoms! I only had 1 session with Joy and trying herbs but I immediately noticed a positive change. I have too much mental energy and exhausted but its hard to sleep. The herbs cool me off and I feel more balanced and calm. I had a few issues with scheduling but they accomodated me when I arrived.

I have had about six acupuncture sessions. I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis, which causes fatigue and joint/muscle pain. The acupuncture has helped a lot in regards to my pain and muscle stiffness, especially in my hands and arms.
Maria is great; she is very professional and thorough in addressing my needs. She personalizes each acupuncture session based on how I am feeling that day.
I started my first treatments bi-weekly and now have a treatment monthly.

Laura has been my acupuncture provider for the past year.
For years, due to bad posture, a sedentary job, and getting older I have had severe shoulder, neck, and low back pain. Throughout the years, my pain has ranged from annoying to debilitating. I have sought various treatments including prescribed muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatory drugs, massage, physical therapy, and two other acupuncture providers. The drugs provided temporary relief, but were always accompanied by side effects, and the massages I received were soothing while being performed, yet failed to provide longer lasting relief

Came here for Accupuncture and it was great. She has a availability on the weekends which is really convenient. She is kind and explains everything thoroughly for you. The Chinese herbs she gave me 100% helped almost instantly! Believes in natural remedies. I loved my experience here and I'll be back.

Maria is amazing. So professional and knowledgeable. Yesterday was my first session with her and I am already feeling SO much better. I have had debilitating knee, hip and back pain/ stiffness for years. I am a "complicated case"... I haven't been able to squat comfortably in almost a year, haven't been able to bend and tie my shoes in 4 years and I haven't slept well since I was a child due to being uncomfortable lying down.. After one session I bent over and tied my shoes without even thinking about it, I can squat, stand and cook dinner without pain and I slept amazing

Whether it's your first time getting accupuncture or maybe just ready for a change. This place is very professional, experienced, takes most insurances and has the most sweet and welcoming staff and environment. There is NO pain with accupuncture and the experience is very relaxing and really helps with almost anything, stress, digestion issues, muscle tension, headaches and so much more! I had been attending this place for a short while until a few weeks ago when I stopped going, and actully my therapist did not respond to my email to reschedule. Perhaps an oversight? Laura is good at what she does, she listened to my concerns and checked in about my comfort throughout the process. I have degenerative disc desease in my lower back as a result of an accident. I decided leave and go to a different place because I need a more flexible schedule than this place offers. I have two small babies and sometimes things do come up for me and I need to reschedule. Although my first few experiences at E,A&W were with Jennifer, I must say that Dr. Laura stepped in yesterday and slayed the heat and tension that had built up in my central nervous system. She not only placed those li'l pins in places that were meant to calm the excessive energy but also, she explained as much.
The service was great, the experience was awesome and I left feeling more in balance with my own essence.

I saw Jennifer. She was very present during our intake interview. Very caring. And most importantly she was completely honest.
I cannot review her treatment. Because she refused to treat me. And that is why she gets a 5 star review. I have never met a doctor that refused to take my money because she truly believed it wouldnt be helpful for me in the immediate future
She gave me great advice, wants me to get imaging (MRI), get my primary care teamn in touch with her before she starts treatment.
She could have just taken my money, stabbed me with a needle and sent me on my way. But instead of

After my mother had an acupuncture session and recommended it to me for my multiple health issues, I made an appointment with Jennifer.
The building was easy to locate, as was the specific suite. The waiting room is very calming, with water and tea available, as well as magazines and books to read. I checked in about fifteen minutes early, and was seen promptly at the scheduled time of my appointment.

Love the new facility, much more convenient and "pleasant" than Downtown Walnut Creek. I've been a patient here since they opened their doors on Main St in Walnut Creek and they continue to provide outstanding care. I tend to put a significant amount of wear on my body at work and playing sports, and Laura and Jenna always offer treatments to help keep me functioning at a high level on a day to day basis.
