Dr. Tara Hardin developed a passion for dentistry by watching her dad at a young age, and has since taken over the practice. Dr. Tara graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1996 and then received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2000 from The Ohio State University. She continued her pursuit of advanced training at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies earning a fellowship with LVI.
Dr. Hardin is a Las Vegas Institute Fellow, granted only after a minimum of 278 hours of advanced education and experience in aesthetics, physiologic science, and a comprehensive practical examination. Additionally, she is an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an accreditation granted only to those with superior performance and knowledge in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

I highly recommend Dr. Tara Hardin for all your dental needs. I started seeing Dr. Tara Hardin due to her reputation for excellence and artistry in her cosmetic dentistry work! As a child I tripped and chipped my front tooth in half. At the time dentists just mended the tooth which made my front tooth look half yellow. Growing up kids would ask me what was wrong with my tooth which made me grow very self-conscious. As a teen I had a porcelain veneer that was better but still not to good. Now as an adult in my 50’s I did my research to carefully select the best dentist to restore my front porcelain

I was so looking forward to this appointment! I was early and waited 20 minutes past my appointment to be seen. I paid $100 in advance and assumed I would be seen by an actual dentist. Instead I was taken to a room where they mapped a 3D image of my teeth, it was very cool and not invasive. The next person I spoke to was all about the money.. Do you have 50k, 70k or 35k? I was surprised because I hadn't had ex rays yet. How can you quote implants without knowing the condition of my teeth of gums? I never saw an actual dentist. The front desk staff is very welcoming and professional upon arrival. The facility is impeccably clean and well looked after. Dr Tara Hardin and the entire staff is doing fantastic job. I’m extremely happy how Dr Hardin saved my teeth. Few years ago my that time dentist wanted to replace an older tiny filling with a crown. That didn’t sound right so I wanted a second opinion and found Dr Hardin. She literally saved my otherwise healthy tooth by replacing the older filling with a beautiful white, very natural looking filling without the need to grind down my tooth for a crown.
Unfortunately this year I needed to go to another dentist. That was a big mistake. He replaced my remaining old amalgam (silver) fillings:

I have a very difficult mouth to fit, with poor bone structure and dental implant bar. Dr Hampton did an amazing job! I have a new smile that will last me many years. He is very kind, patient, professional and undoubtedly very talented in dentistry. he is a terrific asset to Hardin Dentistry and I will be recommending many patients to him. Been going to this place for quiet few years now, at first everything was fine, the hygienists were nice, only feel a little uncomfortable because every time I visit, they trying to convince me to spend money doing something. Make me wonder how would my teeth still be this bad when I follow their recommendation to visit every 3 months for a regular cleaning for over 5 years(or longer)!
Things got worse recently, I have to reschedule an appointment because my nanny suddenly change schedule on me. I called and explained there is conflict because I have to drop off the kids, the front desk persist

To say I was terrified to go to the dentist was an understatement, until I met the amazing team at Hardin Advanced Dentistry. From the minute you enter the beautiful dental practice, you are greeted with a smile and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. I required a lot of dental work (due to avoiding dentists for years after a horrible past experience). Dr. Tara Hardin and her team were so gentle, caring, professional and reassuring to me every step of the way. You can even chose to have Mitch (the cutest well-trained puppy) sit on your lap to relax you. I will never go anywhere

This place is way overpriced and just wants your money. The head dentist is very full of herself in my opinion. I Went for a small chip in my tooth and they told me before they would fix it I would have to get Invisalign and said I had a "sever case" which it's not at all and quoted me at 4K which is obsurd then another 500 to fix my chip. Went to Dr. Weisenberg in Mt Lookout (highly recommend) who said my bite was fine and didn't need Invisalign and quoted me half the cost for the chipped tooth. NEVER go here unless you have thousands of dollars to blow.

Hardin Dental is not only the BEST dentist in town, they care deeply for their patients. I have been seeing Dr. Tara for 8 years or more. I have only experienced people who truly care about me. The folks at the office really like their job and it shows when they care for me. Dr. Tara has made my smile so beautiful and I didn't think that was possible. Also, I have the biggest fear of the dentist. They all make you comfortable and put you at ease. For someone who used to cry every time I went to the dentist, I can go now completely confident that I will be well cared for. The technology

Hardin definitely seems to be in it for the money. After telling me one cost, when it was time to pay it was many many more dollars. After seeking a second opinion I had none of the issues that they said I did. Do not go here unless you want to pay for services you don't need

Said my son had 8 "extremely deep" cavities- went to another dentist and he had NONE.
I regret I did allow them to fill 3 of the "8" before we went somewhere else. They made us pay right there in the chair and they told me how much they were for one surface. But when we came back to get them filled it was a different amount. So I called around and got another dentist prices and went there.
Hardin claimed the cavities were so deep that you had to have their special technology to see- but 2 years later the truth is the same- he had NONE!!!

I had the full cosmetic veneer procedure completed on my upper and lower teeth. This was very extensive as I had two caps in the front that had been there for over 30 years, and I had a permanent retainer on the lower section from when I had braces. Dr Tara Hardin and her staff are amazing. She uses very high tech measurement instruments and procedures to ensure the final result is nothing less than phenomenal. She and her staff were very good about presenting options for less costly treatment, and for the final veneer selection. I was kept informed every step of the way. My case was not an easy
