Born and raised in Toronto, Canada and completed his bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University Toronto. He then went on to complete a PhD in chemistry and publish original research at York University, where he also served as a teaching assistant. Dr. Amborski, then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Detroit Mercy, which also included completion of an elective program in implant dentistry.

I hate going to the dentist and I don't really like to write reviews.... HOWEVER, when you've had an experience like I did you simply have to let everyone know!
I have never really had a good experience with ANY dentist in over 50 years.... until now! I needed to get in quickly to have work done. They were able to get me in within 24 hours! I was very impressed with how Dr. Amborski actually took time to listen and understand my concerns. He and his AMAZING staff made me feel so comfortable! If I could give a zero - I would. My new patient appointment was scheduled for this morning at 7:00am (Friday 07/31). I took time off work, got up early and arrived to find the office closed. Not one person contacted me to let me know my appointment was cancelled nor re-scheduled. As a patient, I would have been charged a no-show fee. What are the consequences as a provider?? None. Very rude and unprofessional.

Every time I have an appointment with this dentist and staff I'm greeted with genuinely friendly faces. I always have my dental needs met and often exceeded. I had mentioned it to them when my father-in-law passed away that it was a rough time. Shortly thereafter they sent a condolence card in the mail which may not seem like much but was a heartfelt gesture that they weren't obligated to do. I will forever be a patient for as long as they're in the business.

Very knowledgeable people and they do a great job, but they are scam artists when it comes to billing. I had some gum issues last year that had to cleared up and they did a great job. But now it’s like they have labeled me, even after it was corrected. So now when I go in for a normal cleaning they code it as special cleaning even though they did a normal cleaning. They blamed it on the insurance company. However, I called the insurance company and they pay based on the office coding. They don’t dictate what coding to use. The insurance knew I had the cleaning done and said if the dentist does

My husband, son, and myself all go to Dr. Amborski. My son hated a nearby pediatric dentist, because they had a hold him still amd get it done mentality. Dr. Amborski's staff is MUCH more understanding and will stop and answer any question kids might have. Since they arent a pediatric office they dont have the smaller dental trays. So for my son he went for 2 years before getting an xray. They would try every cleaning.There is a small area with games for children to play while they are waiting. Parents are always welcome to accompany their child back. Scheduling/Rescheduling is always an easy
