A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
Digital radiographs (x-rays) are an important diagnostic tool for dental professionals. While traditional film radiographs provide critical insight into the oral and physical health of the patient, hi-tech digital radiographs allow dentists to view and enhance dental images on a large computer screen.
Athletic activity poses a threat to teeth and orthodontic devices, especially in young patients. If you or a member of your family is active in sports, it's essential to protect against harm with a specially-made sports mouth guard. Mouth guards are often overlooked as a part of sports equipment, but patients who use them are up to sixty times less likely to suffer oral injuries compared to those who don't.
If you are experiencing extreme sensitivity or are suffering from advanced periodontal disease, you may be required to have a tooth extracted. With a simple extraction, the dentist can safely remove the affected tooth without the need for major surgery. There are numerous situations in which a simple extraction can help alleviate pain or prepare you for another cosmetic or restorative procedure.

I must say, I was truly impressed with how nice and welcoming the staff was. From the moment I schedule appts for me and my family to how quickly they called me back after being on a waitlist. The officer manager Lauren was so efficient and nice! She got all my boys scheduled in one visit.
My boys are very young but they loved getting their teeth cleaned here. The hygienist was so sweet and so gentle and Dr. White was very informative and hospitable during our visit.
I highly recommend them!!

I no longer trust this dentist office. After not having dental insurance for several years I had a few fillings that were literally falling out. On my first visit they examined my teeth and took x-rays then handed me a long list of 7 teeth that needed filling and three teeth that needed crowns.
They did not explain any of this while they were actually examining my teeth or were inside my mouth, it wasn't until afterwards once they produce an invoice that they told me I needed all of this work. In the past my dentists had always pointed these things out while inside my mouth so I would know what

I was referred by a friend who took her kids & has since switched dentists & didn't say why & today I saw first hand. It was my 3 year olds second dentist visit & the dental assistant or whoever she was told him "you want to go home don't you, well you need to cooperate with me so you can" and I had to remind her "this is his first time he doesn't know he isn't cooperating you have to teach him" I love dr Stephanie white but her colleagues are not what I wished to be in my kids mouth . My daughter is 8 and still not too happy 10 hours later about how rough the lady was with her mouth. If you're

When you have worked at a dental office and feel comfortable bringing your family and yourself there for treatment it says a lot about the dental office, dentist, and staff. Not only did my family receive a very high quality of care but it was like seeing family. I felt like Dr. white treated us as if we were family like I was her sister and my kids were her own. The hygienist Cindy did an awesome job of cleaning my teeth. She was very gentle, thorough, and very informative. When I think about the treatment that my family received at Hometown Family Dentistry, I can sincerely there is no place

I had my 6 month cleaning today. What a wonderful experience. In the past I have been to dental offices and have felt like a number, rushed in and out to get the next patient in. At Hometown I felt like a part of their family. From the second I walked into the door, until I left I felt the warmth from the smiles. I would recommend them and look forward to my next visit. :)

I have had mixed experiences here but lately it seems to be getting better. It is never nice or very professional to be mocked for being in tooth pain. I think the office culture has improved though. My wife is a disabled medicare/medicaid patient and they are very kind to her. But my own personal experience wasn't so great. Hopefully they keep up the good work.

Had a great experience today with some residents from the facility I work at! 😊 The staff was amazing!! Everyone was so nice & helpful! From the ladies at the front desk to everyone in between up until we saw the dentist! We had an exceptional sweet lady named Liz (I hope I got her name right!) that helped us SO much throughout our appointments!! If you are looking for a dentist I recommend Hometown Family Dentistry!! Thanks again to all of you for being so sweet to my residents!! ❤️

Dr. White and her staff are phenomenal. They're so kind, compassionate and understanding. I typically get anxiety when going to the dentist, her staff allows me talk out all of my jitters and make me feel right at home! Dr. White has completely changed my perspective of the dentist office being scary! It's not! The atmosphere is very welcoming and peaceful. They genuinely care about their patients personally and professionally. I would recommend them to anyone. 11/10!
