A & H Implement Company has been serving Altamont and the surrounding communities since the turn of the century. Mrs. Louis Hoffmeister, assisted by her son Ronald, operated A & H until she remarried in 1972. At that time another son, Jerry, joined the business in partnership with Ronald and they continued to sell vehicles under the name of A & H Implement Company.
In 1977 a new body shop was built and Ronald's son, Michael, began working for the family business. Extensive improvements were made to the original building in 1994. In 1996 Ronald and Jerry had fifteen employees and the business was incorporated. In 2008, a new building was built that contains a state of the art paint room.

Right now they are breaking the law by keeping me from my stuff and trying to charge me $125.00. This is Lille and I've told them this. I will head there in person if not I'll just call and officer I know and hand this with the owner who is apparently not even living in Springfield. So to anyone who says this is a local business is laying. According to our city. Anyone who works for the city has to live in the city. Why does this no hold true to companies that claim they help the community... the community is where you live not where you set up shop......

While staying at a super 8 near by my check engine light turned on. They were more than willing to use their tools to check the on board diagnostics. Turned out to be a coolant issue and I had coolant on me so the whole visit took no more than 30 mins and was only $20.
They were very welcoming and helpful. I do not, however know, what it would be like for other auto services
