Services
High Efficiency fan motor: $150 (Standard on Energy Star qualified natural gas furnaces (only available for PECO Electric customers)). Additional $100 on a dual fuel heat pump (hybrid) - Heat Pump Efficiency must meet $500 level Rebate (see above) - This is not a separate rebate, just an additional amount.
Each home is different. A heat load calculation will help us determine the right size for your home. The heat load calculation is generally based on square feet of the house, amount of windows, insulation and other mitigating factors. Air filters help keep your HVAC system working properly. During the heating season, a dirty air filter will reduce the air flow over heat exchanger and could cause it to crack.
Energy-efficiency improvements will save money on a new furnace, because you will need a smaller furnace. A properly sized furnace will also operate most efficiently. A central heat pump helps maintain comfortable temperatures inside your home and reduces humidity levels year-round.
As your heat pump system draws air out of various rooms in the house through return air ducts, the air is pulled through an air filter, which removes airborne particles such as dust and lint.Because the compressor bearing unit of the typical central heat pump system is located outside the home, the indoor noise level from its operation is much lower than that of a free-standing unit.

My experience with TORAN Heating and Air Conditioning was a
very positive one,
Art is the owner and operator of Toran and I would give him a A++ for his customer service. Art was thorough in explaining the system, took the time to answer any questions I had. He was also very easy to reach by phone and over saw all the work and inspected the work when it was completed.
I am so happy with my AC (just had it installed in the spring),
I am new to Philly and even though I love the city this would have been my 3rd summer without AC till a neighbor recommended Toran to me.
The two major concerns

If you have HVAC needs look no further. Mr. Toran assessed my job personally, explaining exactly what was needed, and was patient in answering the many questions I had. My installation was for 2 complete HVAC systems (new heaters/condensers) and the price was more than fair. Even after the job was completed, Mr. Toran followed up to ensure everything was fine. A++++

We are very pleased with Arthur and his team! Arthur came more than once to our house to check our project and give us a comprehensive estimate. Communication was wonderful! After making some research, I was interested in a 2-stage furnace and a certain brand, so he was able to get us the exact equipment. He worked with our timeline and did all the work in 2 days. We will certainly recommend Toran Heating & AC and will hire them again for our next project.

Art and his team installed a Mitsuibishi ductless AC unit in 2 rooms of the house for me (one of them cools my entire first floor). I had wanted a floor model because I didn't think the long big units would fit in my space or look nice aesthetically. Art figured out how to make it happen with his team. They were also punctual and left the space clean and neat.
