Where do I start, I wanted to enjoy my birthday with great food that I didn't have to wonder if it would be what I expected. One of my sons reminded me that delivery was available with catering. Ordering was easy and delivery turned out to be a breeze but the customer service and the food taste was absolutely GRAND!!
The manager Ray is such a nice guy and knows exactly what your asking for
very accommodating with special touches added in to make things perfect. That personalized attention couldn't have been better, Thank you Ray!!!

The Pig Shop used to cater our annual company cookout every year. I so looked forward to their grilled chicken, it was the best I ever had.
Recently I went by there to get some chicken. Unfortunately they had sold out. They had a large party right before I arrived. I ordered ribs instead for the first time. I was underwhelmed! I’m super big on bbq food I’ve eaten food from Tennessee, California, Texas, all the southern states really. The food is good but compared to other places decent at best. The sweet tea was the best part of the meal. The potato salad had an overwhelming taste of mustard that took away from everything else. The Mac and cheese to much liquid and the pulled pork no comment

If you asked me five years ago I would've told you this was one of the better bbq joints in Hampton Roads. Alas the last few times I've eaten here have been awful. First of all the food tastes a day old at the least and there is absolutely zero smoke flavor in any of the meats. I ordered the two meat platter with pulled pork and brisket. The pulled pork was fine aside from the day old taste. They've never done a bad job on the pulled pork to be honest but OMG the brisket was awful. It looked like slices of overcooked week old roast beef. It was so dry and the texture was like chewing

I order from here a couple of times a week! The employees are great, it's a family owed spot so it's more or a personal feel. I get the beef brisket sandwich with fries well done, and my husband gets the bbq, both Taste great! The brisket is juicy and the bbq is NC BBQ so it has that vinegar taste! They have a couple of different BBQ sauces to choose from. They have the good ice and the best sweet tea! We've never gotten anything we didn't like here. Worst customer service ever . The woman who rung me up today was so rude to me . I asked them to take off one side because of their extreme prices . (They're so expensive) and she got attitude with me and was mumbling under her breathe about me to the other associate. I feel super disrespected and she needs to learn how to talk to customers. If you want rude customer service and expensive food this is the place for you.

I'll admit I'm some what of a BBQ snob, but this place is just bad. All of the meats I had were terrible, I've never needed a knife for brisket before, ribs were the opposite of fall off the bone, and the pulled pork was bland as all hell. The sides I ordered ( baked beans, mac n' cheese, and collards) were all bland and tasted like they were made out of cans and boxes. Definitely will not be back!

So. Freaking. Delicious. We got a nice variety of stuff to sample. Ribs. Brisket. Pork. Mac and cheese. Green beans. Potato salad (exceptional!) Coleslaw. Fries. Cornbread. So glad I found this place randomly on door dash. Will definitely be ordering again!

This is a solid BBQ shop. Drive past this place many times and finally ordered delivery from Postmates the other day.
Pulled pork is exceptional. Best in the area I've had. Great pork flavor...good smoke, fat, and a dash of vinegar completes it. A touch of hot sauce doesn't hurt. I'll order two pounds next time. This stuff melts in your mouth.
Ordered the brisket too. Was a little salty, which I like. But to the reviews saying it was dry, I disagree. I did find it odd that it was cut with the grain, but it was definitely juicy and flavorful. Again, perhaps a bit too much salt

Service was fast and courteous, but the brisket and chicken were dry and small. I really wanted to like this place, but it really seemed like they gave us the brisket that was leftover from the weekend. The flavor was alright, but it was so dry and tough. Also, for the price of the two meat and side meal, the portions were incredibly small. The chicken was about the size of my palm, and the few slices of brisket were so dry that it literally curled up. The sides of Mac and cheese and potato salad were also not that good. Safe to say, I do not recommend this place for good bbq.

I'm a truck driver and I've had brisket all over the United States. The brisket here, is the worst I've ever had, it's dry, no flavor and tough. If you ate it with your eyes closed, you would be confused, taste like pork and beef. My ticket was number 97

Restaurant was very clean and employees very friendly - prices were very reasonable. The reduced stars were due to my meal, the brisket was very dry - to dry to eat, which was disappointing since my meal was to go and I had to go back to work. The Mac and cheese were good as well as the potato salad. You can clearly see how dry the brisket was, so I don't understand why they would have put those pieces as the to go meal (?)

I worked for a company from 2005-2010 that used the catering services from Mobile Pignic for numerous employee events and when I tell you that they are TOP NOTCH from customer service to food quality!!! I HAVE NOT EVER had smoked/grilled chicken so delicious. I mean seriously. I don't know what they do to the chicken but it is seriously amazing. And the BRISKET!!!! Melt in your mouth goodness.
They had kind of fallen off of my radar because before now, it was rare that I was on their side of Chesapeake, however my NEW EMPLOYER used their catering services today
