I came to this office on an emergency for my severe jaw pain that has been making me miserable for 3 years now. I was tired of staying in my house on the weekends due to the pain.. My Dentist referred me to The Headache And TMJ Center. What a great place. These people are wonderful and caring. My first visit I was tested by a variety of machines and a long history taken of which these doctors actually LISTENED to me. I was told that I have a disc that is dislocating. I was made an orthotic and had some physical therapy. They also did Prolotherapy and a few trigger point injections. The doctors

I was referred to Dr. Stein for TMJ related issues. From check in to check out my experience was great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Stein immediately knew what was causing my discomfort. He explained my condition thoroughly. They were able to help set me up with PT and make an orthotic to help fix the issue. I was really grateful for this appointment, and I’m hopeful that I will start to feel better soon. I would definitely recommend Dr. Stein!

My appointment yesterday was the best dentist visit I have ever had!
Vicki or Nikki (sorry) is a fantastic hygienist. I received a great cleaning, and she took time to explain everything to me in detail.
The front office staff was also very helpful and welcoming, as it was my first visit. I was also able to schedule follow up consultations with ease.
10/10 would recommend Northfield Dental Group.

Today i came in as a first time patient.
The staff was welcoming. The office was clean.
The Dental hygienist as well as Dr. Widmayer was very knowledgeable, experienced and personable.
I’ve never felt more comfortable at a DENTIST office in my entire life!

Northfield Dental Group is one amazing office. I had no idea I had TMJ and Sleep apnea until I met all the special staff. Being a practitioner myself I was in shock. I have suffered from migraines ever since I was a teenager. After being treated for both by wearing the appliances they have patented, my migraines have decreased significantly. I went from taking Ibuprofen every day to as needed. I am grateful for them. I recommend this office to my patients and everybody I know because they saved my life.

Excellent care, extremely thorough I was so happy that I finally found Dr. Stein and the Northfield Dental Group to treat my TMJ after trying several doctors over the course of a year!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Stein and his assistant Andrea were wonderful, explaining and demonstrating the treatment and causes explicitly! I woke up the next morning after wearing the mouth guard made for me and was able to yawn and in no pain whatsoever! Highly recommend them!!

Excellent experience! I came for a second opinion on a TMJ problem, and in the free consultation (which they advertise and honored) I got several computerized tests, manual tests, and a very thorough examination by Dr. Stein and his assistant, who were very knowledgeable, meticulous, and caring. If I didn’t live so far, he would be my regular dentist. Wonderful practice I recommend emphatically and without reservations. Thank you so much, Dr. Stein and staff! A+++++

I have been going to Northfield Dental Group for over 10 years. Upon arrival, I am always greeted with smiles and friendly faces. The hygienists are all wonderful and everyone in the office has great bedside manner. I was recently diagnosed with TMJ and Dr. Stein quickly ordered me a retainer and helped with the pain. In addition to relieving my pain, he helped calm my nerves. I can not speak highly enough about Northfield Dental Group and have recommended them to so many of my friends and family already, without hesitation.

2017 - The staff is very, very nice. Super. However, I came here for TMJD treatment and had no insurance... I was desperate and could not separate my teeth more than a half inch or less. The dentist from my youth custom made me a bite plate retainer and it broke. I had never been a patient of this office before, however Dr Stein saw me and Karen saw me and were confident they could help me. Fantastic. They quoted me about $3500 for the bite plate and physical therapy. The PT was $175 a visit and it was not worth it. While very relaxing it did nothing to help me. I was not able to get the plate

My wife referred me to Dr Stein for my constant jaw pain. My jaw clicked and killed me every day. I woke up with headaches and sometimes could not open my mouth. Dr. Stein suggested a comprehensive treatment for my situation. He made me a mouthpiece that was simple to use and a course of physical therapy and some medications. After 2 weeks my jaw pain is just about gone! My headaches have been gone since the first week. I had seen 3 different doctors and all told me it was nothing. It was like I was making this all up. Dr. Stein is an honest and caring guy. Hard to believe that after every appointment
